First time been here and it was the price what caught my eye. Arrived in time but 1 girl was on food n drink counter doing her best while manager was outside and 2 lads stood checking tickets when nobody was there (could of assisted the female)she did good. Was late into screen got into screen 20 mins late so missed adverts not a problem.brought 2 tickets for me &wife to watch wicked screen 6 with VIP seats.what a waste of money seats were sticky and grubby nothing special they don't recline or anything just wider ohand back rest felt loose and leg room was no different we thought.overall deserves 1 star but the professionalism of the female staff on her own running the food and drink she deserves praising on her own.

Thank you to the member of staff who was in charge of the Andre Rieu show on Sunday afternoon. The audience were mostly elderly people. The lights were put on at the beginning and end of the show, she also came into Screen 5 at the interval to make sure everyone was OK. Thank you, you made it safer for everyone and it was appreciated.

Came to this cinema for the first time and I don’t think I’ll be returning. Hotdogs were poor quality and pretty much cold, the bun fell to pieces when eating it and didn’t taste fresh and the tomato sauce was the cheapest tasting you could find, also very expensive £15 for 2 hotdogs. Service was also quite slow at the till.

Went yesterday with my daughter to watch despicable me 4, i paid for VIP seating and was shocked to see how run down the theatre was, 4-5 seats to our right were covered, saying they were out of use, seating was not very comfortable and the cinema was absolutely freezing! We dressed for the weather outside, so shorts and t-shirts and didn't expect to be shivering inside the theatre.. I spent most of the movie trying to warm her up after spending £50 on snacks, drinks, and the movie. I didn't really want to leave wasting that amount of money.

We really did not enjoy our experience at all, and I doubt we'll be returning.

I went to watch Gladiator 2 and thought I would pay the extra for the premium seats, thinking I would have more leg room and a comfy seat. This couldn't be further from the truth, no leg room, and what felt like hard plastic pvc seating, which were uncomfortable causingleg cramps . The seats that I had chosen online were changed at payment, which i didn't realise, and everyone was sat next to each other, and that was annoying when you are surrounded by noise people. The staff were more interested in upselling snacks and sweets, which were way overpriced. On entering the screen, it was very poorly lit, and a few people had issues with the steps tripping. I certainly wouldn't return to this cinema again. Back to ciniworld for me

Couple of tips for newbies using this cinema.
Take some cash for the parking as it does not take card, however you can pay for parking at the till but then you have to go all the way back down to your car as its pay & display.
Don't be fooled by the "from £5.99" prices advertised, we had a £20 gift voucher and still had to top it up by £1.98. This was very irritating as i was expecting change, not have to pay more! Didn't go near the snacks as i refuse to pay the ridiculous prices.
Pricing should be more transparent, no card for parking should also be advised on the website.
Personally wasn't too bothered by the seat issues as ours were comfy enough to spend an hour and a half in, and i'd rather they cover the unseviceable seats instead of simply letting you unknowingly than

Booked tickets for my 15-year-old son & his friend at the VUE in Altrincham. Unfortunately, the lads were refused entry due to lack of ID. Mainly though, the inspiration for my review is the thoroughly rude way the Altrincham VUE staff deal with 15-year-old kids. Very rude, unhelpful, unlike the Odeon & Everyman who I have always found to be polite & welcoming. Lesson learned – in future we’ll swerve the VUE and the unhappy team at Altrincham.

Please put the heat on, saw Gladiator last week, and it wasn't just me covering up to watch a film over 2 hrs long, seemed like air con was on blowing over your legs rather than the heat setting
