Brilliant gym; in fact at least two gyms in one. The weights equipment is top notch, with plenty of the equipment you need, and none of the stuff you don’t. Great free weights areas. Always tidy and clean. The boxing area offers a range of bags of different sizes- heavy bags, aqua bags speed ball, wall bag all top quality gear. The basic open gym membership gets you use of the weights and boxing equipment, so is great value. The one on one boxing coaching is brilliant. The people who come in here are a varied bunch, it’s not a “ boxing” crowd and not at all intimidating if you’re new to a boxing style gym. It’s a serious place though- people don’t come in here to mess around. Pretty quiet during the day on weekdays, busier after 5 during the week but not too busy and great atmosphere. Even if you don’t want to box, it’s great watching. Loads of kids and ladies come here, so it’s a good mix. Darren makes sure he knows every member by name and theft makes you feel at home from the off. Great place, highly recommend.

Our 17yr old son has been attending Spartan for the last 12 months. Its a great community with brilliant staff who provide good role models for him. He enjoys his sessions, and will attend as much as he can as he loves the community that's been created there. He would rather go to a session at the gym on a Saturday than go out with his other friends to a party. He's created great friendships there and we are really happy that he is keeping fit, whilst having fun and staying off the streets and out of trouble. Would highly recommend. 5 stars every day of the week.

A great gym. Loads of kit, knowledgeable staff and great classes. Most importantly, its a really inclusive and supportive environment which caters for all experience or ability levels. If you want to try boxing or just want to get in shape but have been put off by the atmosphere at other gyms, give this place a go.

I have been going to Spartan now for around 6 months and I could not recommend this gym highly enough!

The facilities are impeccable. Whether you want an open gym or classes that cater for Strength and Functional training, HIIT sessions, Boxing and Thai Boxing. This place literally has it all.

The open gym format is excellent and there are HIIT and Strength classes going on in the gym that are awesome (Ladies get in contact with Shelby the PT - her group sessions look mega!). However, my personal favourite are the Thai boxing sessions led by Prince and Ash who are both absolute experts at what they do, very friendly and extremely welcoming to beginners! We have new people starting every week who have never done any martial arts in their life and they always love the sessions! Darren who runs the Boxing sessions is also absolutely fantastic and really knows his stuff and I would highly recommend his sessions as well.

On top of that, the crowd that attend the gym are fantastic. The spartan team have cultivated an amazing gym culture and you will meet lots of great people and make genuine friends if you come down regularly which is probably the main reason I will keep on coming!

Oh and there's also great music played throughout.

Oh and there's a pool table.

Oh and there's always free parking.

What more could you want?

Fantastic community. Friendly personal trainers. Adequate gym equipment to train top to bottom.

I just moved in the area. 3 of my friends and I are trying out 3 gyms each for 20 days. Total 12 gyms then make a decision where to train together.

This is first gym and I enjoy it.

I have all that I need in this private gym. Training 4 days a week, and have been going in the morning, afternoon and night. Night is the busiest, the rest of the day is quiet.

The owner was friendly with a nice welcome. No need of induction as I know what I am doing.

PTs are nice. Some corrected my posture even I was not a client.

The classes that I observed has been professional. Lots of people. Great buzz and vibes.

The shower was perfect. Single shower, one for male and one for female. Separate changing rooms. The shower is small but spacious inside for the experience. Hot water was perfect and great pressure with both shower head and waterfall head. I enjoy my shower here than at home!

Would recommend. Much better vibes that commercial gyms. I begin to like private gyms.
