Very impressive toilets, more sanitary than most. Oppressive architecture and unwelcoming atmosphere. Reminds me of my area back in East London. Bland and mediocre food. All students very nice and accommodating. Overall an alright university.

Think twice before enrolling here, as immigrants have set up unauthorized camps right in the middle of the university. The student union seems to be influenced by political and religious agendas. Additionally, the university's newspaper, which claims to be neutral, actually censors and changes content to fit certain propaganda. It's disappointing to see the university's standards compromised by political and religious interference from immigrants. You might want to consider studying somewhere else where you'll be respected and find a peaceful campus environment.

Snow forecast the day before. Salt is too expensive for this university, so I'm afraid you need to take extra care not to slip and break a hip or leg. Stairs, roads, pathways and pavements are not gritted and extra slippery. VERY minimal use of salt. If you are parked there, you might get trapped and have to use public transport - if it is still working.

This university's administration is next to useless. The housing office offered to reimburse me for 1 week's rent if I agreed to move out a week early. I put a lot of time and effort into complying with their request, and here I am still chasing down my refund 7 weeks later! I asked the housing office where my money was and all they did was apologize that the accounting office is "very busy" right now. It's funny that I'm "busy" too, but that didn't seem to work as an excuse when I was the one who owed them money. There's no way it takes nearly 2 months to update a spreadsheet and click "send"... I don't buy it, sorry.

I run and own C4K: Community for kids CIC, we run the computers for kids programme as well as provide furniture to Schools that lack budgets.

We work with the University of Sussex who have donated a lot of furniture which is now in schools in multiple parts of sussex.

They are extremely nice to work with and easy to get on with. They also care deeply about their own students and have excellent learning facilities and lecturers.
