Great classes for all ages. Children can have a taster of six various musical instruments guided by friendly teachers and help them to decide which one they want to go on with. The conservatory has term time programs as well. Amazing environment in blackheath and you can wait for your child whilst having a coffee or tea at the backyard.

My daughter has been having singing lessons at the Conservatoire for about 8 years, passing all her grades with high scores. She has loved every single lesson and every teacher she has had. Her most recent teacher, Eva Prenga, is phenomenal. Since having lessons with Eva, my daughter has gained the confidence for the first time, to perform in public, at various events and in choirs. She has also just passed her Grade 8 with distinction. Would highly recommend the Conservatoire and Eva!

A Grade 1 listed Vicrorian building Arts centre catering for ages from young children to adults. Art Studios 1 and 2 are located at the rear of the site. Separting them from the main building is an open seating area with a sand pit for children. The Art Kitchen cafe serves beverages and food. At the end of each term the adult Art exhibition is held in Studio 1. Entrance is free and a complimentary drink is offered. Tutors are of a high standard and staff are friendly and helpful. Course fees are good value.

Tried to apply for courses in December-no spaces, tried in May-unsuccessful. Now I am trying to apply for Autumn term - no available on website, no links at all. So I should only call. When I called, the line is always busy. So I emailed them, they responded to me that I should call them. That makes me crazy. 21th century and we don’t have an opportunity to apply on website. They probably choose their students and parents by their personal preferences.
We now registered in Art-K classes online and my kid is so happy with that. No problems at all.
So please, don’t think it’s only one place for Art for your kid, there are a lot of other.

my daughter loves the class until london lock down, they closed and I received new invoice for September term, nobody mention one class missed during lock down should issue a refund ,and I email them saying I don't feel safe enough to send my daughter back in September considering they have different area kids in one class and sharing instrument.I paid 75 pounds deposit for one year roundabout course.i asked if I can get deposit back.they said no .if I choose not going ,I lose my deposit.
do not feel comfortable to send my daughter back in September!

I had a violin class with Sigurd Feiring. He is an amazing teacher. The Conservatoire is calm and peaceful, a very nice place to practice and study.

I had a really awkward situation with my daughter's music teacher in the middle of class…she was very rude and even aggressive. My only response was to send an email to the conservatory and they responded by questioning my word and they didn't even apologize for what happened.
I'm not going back and they didn't want to return my money either.

This is an amazing place, whether it is a workshop or a course you are interested in. It's an institution with dedicated, talented and inspiring tutors. Many of the courses are very popular, so it's a good idea to contact them in advance.
