In terms of book this library is very well stocked and has a good selection for all ages. The architecture is very beautiful and it's has wheelchair accessible ramps. However I have never seen the lift working. The reason for the 1 star in the staff I've been many libraries north and south of river and this library has some of the most unkind staff I have ever spoken to.

I've previously left a 5 star review but have to change it to 2 stars now. The Children's sessions are not great now, rushed and often cancelled without notice. Some of the staff are still great but unfortunately with kids, we don't feel so welcome anymore. Its a shame because its been an absolute delight for our kids to explore books and socialising but unfortunately looks like it's an end of an era for kids at Clapham Library.

Interesting modern building in the Mary Seacole Centre on Clapham High Street. We visited to see the photographic exhibition Widrush: A Voyage Through the Generations. The work by Jim Grover is very good and I recommend everyone takes it in if they are in the area. The interior of the library is also worth a look.

Impossible to work quietly here. There seem to always be children’s groups ongoing on the lowest floor and the building is badly designed so it’s incredibly noisy no matter where you sit

Nice library. A lot of available tables to study at. But it is too loud,full of children.

The Lambeth Library opens at 10am, which is too late for nurseries and schools to visit in the morning. Wandsworth Libraries are better as they open at a decent time which is more useful.

Definitely need to update open times on Google and several other ads state that coding club would be at open 2pm today, it's closed for the Easter weekend and bank holiday Monday.
