Chris is just one of those genuine people with an amazing energy!! The Boado Academy is more than martial arts. It's a family!! The facilities are amazing and there are loads of different classes. I was a student almost 10years ago. Give it a try and you won't regret it!!

The trainers are fantastic, knowledgeable and deliver fulfilling classes, + the community is lovely.

You always feel seen and welcome in classes! The classes feel personalised and packed with training! 💪 The trainers are outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable, fun and approachable.

I always feel fulfilled and accomplished after each class, seeing personal improvements after each session!

Also- the gym is beautiful and pleasure to train in! Could not recommend more!!! 👌

I have trained with Chris for 8 years on-off, but since April 2021 I have been regular coming to BAMA for my fitness journey. Chris and his trainers push me to my limit, motivate and encourage me to do be more educated in fitness and boxing workouts, and sparring. Every session makes you feel like you're part of a community and everyone who comes to the sessions will make you feel comfortable, welcome and motivated to improve, without judgement, or discouragement. Your journey becomes so much more than just fitness. I LOVE coming to BAMA, and couldn't recommend it more highly.

I have been training with Chris and the team at BAMA for about 4 years now. The training space is amazing, there is a full size ring, loads of space, great energy. Chris's enthusiasm is infectious and he is an incredibly knowledgeable martial artist. I joined as a complete novice - there are all levels and abilities here and all are welcome. I recently joined BAMA and only wished I had join sooner as it’s been an absolute game changer for me on all levels.

Chris has created an environment that is both welcoming and pushes you to be your best. The team at BAMA are skilled, top notch instructors who are some the best in the game when it comes to BJJ, Muy Thai and more.

A missed session, let alone a missed week, is miserable for me. Again, a super welcoming vibe when you join, with the opportunity to watch and observe for yourself if you’re not sure.

Having trained with Chris at BAMA for the last 3 years I can honestly say there’s not a better teacher/community out there. The style of teaching is prefect for me as not only has it massively improved my core fitness but I’ve also learned so much technically about Muay Thai and martial arts in general. BAMA is so welcoming and I love that it caters for everyone, all genders and all levels of fitness…I wasn’t that fit when I first started - which can sometimes be really intimidating - but Chris and the team put me at ease straight away, tailoring classes to my ability but still pushing me - and I’ve never looked back! For anyone wanting to start their martial arts journey…or fine tune their technique I cannot recommend BAMA highly enough!

Started thai boxing at BAMA as a complete novice 5 months ago, it's been a great experience, I've genuinely felt my strength and general fitness improve as a result, as well as learning new self defense skills. Still have a long way to go to get where I want to be but I have huge confidence in Chris and the other coaches to support me, they are all approachable and great motivators. BAMA is an awesome choice!
