Surveyed my family's house and said they could go ahead with installing, but this would mean connecting to the wightfirbre box in the next road over. After stringing us along for three or four months, they said they couldn't connect us to their service despite connecting my next-door neighbour the same way a few years before. In that time, our old provider had left us without any Internet whatsoever.

Would rate 0 if I could.

This service is only good in new modern houses. They use a system called plumes rather the conventional modems. They carry the signal from 1 plume to another around your home so you have the best connection all over your home. But these plumes are ineffective when you have an engineer just putting your main plume anywhere that is time saving. Not in a position that carries the signal from 1 plume to another. Nearly 2 years we've had this service and whilst the 1 room it is fantastic signal, once we try to connect in another room it is worse than your mobile phones mobile data. Strongly suggest looking into other service providers if you have an older or larger property. Or simply an engineer that doesn't care.

When it works it's great. Unfortunately, we have constant outages. I'm writing this review at home with my laptop tethered through my phone because Wightfibre is out yet again and has been for the last 5 hours.

At least the mobile phone company is happy as I've had to switch to an unlimited data plan.

I desperately wanted Wightfibre to be a success and I was looking forward to faster internet. Despite excellent customer service their hardware does not work for some homes.
1) They could not blow the fibre through the pipe due to an obstruction. Not to worry I can wait.
2) Fibre now connected, but engineer did not set-up the router or leave the password. Unlike all other providers it's not printed on the device and you have to phone support during working hours. Slightly annoying since it was a weekend, but again I can wait.
3) Can't connect Sonos speakers (commonly used wireless speakers) without calling support and then it still does not work without hardwiring to the router. Now getting annoyed since I need an extra Sonos port (£££) to fix something that worked perfectly before.
5) The signal is patchy and unstable even within a few metres of the router. Not suitable for any house with solid brick internal walls. Ready to give up. Last option is to buy my own wireless router or do I just go back to old provider.

Customer service team try so hard, but they are supporting poor hardware. Once again I'm sitting in Tesco's Costa coffee using their wifi since home wifi not working! Support say that it's connected and fine, but none of my families devices are connecting. Time to go back to previous provider, which was slow, but reliable.

Our internet went down on a Sunday morning, and they sent an engineer the same day to replace our 'plume' and get us back up again. Also very quick to answer the initial phone call, and very helpful. They even phoned later to check that everything was OK. Really great service!

Best Internet we have ever had. The guys fitting it were professional and friendly. The Internet itself is super fast (we only have the lowest one) and for the first time in 8 years I have faultless Internet all over my home! Can't recommend enough!
