I love coming to this Cafe, Waste2Taste, because it gives me reason to leave my bed in the middle of the week, to come and meet like-minded friends, where we engage in doing handicrafts, while waiting for the warm delicious food to eat, and even take some home, for a later time!
The atmosphere is very friendly, and kind for all. A nice place for chatting and laughing with one another, which helps me to feel emotionally better.

A good place for finding encouraging words and support from others, tasting new foods, and learning new skills from others is all worth coming to this place.

Waste2taste is the most heartwarming experience. We get noticed , shown love, meet likeminded friends , lots of laughter and conversations . Older people don’t have many places to go where they are accepted and shown care and kindness. The food is outstanding to say the least . Waste2taste doesn’t waste anything and we have learnt from various courses to utilise out of date food . We have learnt to pickle vegetables which has enabled me to do this at home . Older people are to the larger extent “ invisible “ they are ignored and not given the time of day . Waste2taste has provided Bingo, a hairdresser, community meals , craft club and a knitting/ crochet club every Wednesday. Time is given for problems and matters are resolved . This too is unique . Long May it continue . Without it we would be totally lost . Please remember each of us will grow aged. Think about us before it’s your turn .

What a fab place. Lovely food, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating and all in a good cause. What could be wrong with that?

The Buda bowl was delicious, vegetable curry was fine but nothing special. Cinnamon buns and Gluten free lemon & blueberry cake were all very good - as were the coffees.
It would have been very interesting to get to know more fully about how 'Waste2Taste' actually works.

This is hands down one of THE best places in Oxford - not only is the food absolutely delicious and made from surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, but all the money you spend at Waste2Taste goes back into fabulous community projects helping alleviate food poverty in the city. All of the staff provide outstanding service and make you feel truly at home whenever you visit. Sandra & Marie are absolute gems and have created something truly special 🧡 highly recommend!

Amazing local sustainable food place. Lemon cake was delicious. Will be back! I just stopped in for a snack but the main menu looks great.
