I had mixed experiences with the Uni over the duration of a year. The majority of lectures are engaging and utilise real-world applicable assignments, activities, and examples. One major negative was the student housing deadline set to end a month before dissertation hand in - this does not even cover the course duration and requires students to find and move into new accommodation during the most stressful time of the course. My cohort was also simply used as guinea pigs for the coming years, with none of our concerns addressed or ameliorated during our course time. A new head of department was assigned towards the end of the first semester, who seemed to be making changes for the better.

some tutors were nice but classes are large and many students waste time in the very nearby town centre, lots of noise in classes hard top focus , accommodates white upper class / middle class more than anyone else. overall not bad if you are dedicated and have lots of friends nearby etc

Very poor and unprofessional tutoring from the Illustration tutor Dolores. I was totally shocked by the way l was treated. I was bullied by her due to my sexuality which is disgusting.

Good looking campus, great support staff but sadly they 'accommodate' for, but don't appreciate mature students.
