It's more about just walking through the historical campus taking in the amazing scenery but also about learning the background how this place function. It is then easier to grasp how people who went through this place could contribute so much to science, mathematics, literature etc.

This place is like the perfect garden bed with the right soils. The seeds are given the best possible conditions to grow, to blossom and some eventually into giants.

People generally seem very nice and of course educated and shows the pleasant nature of discipline, good manners all around. Punting and visit to the museums and college are a must, a busy place but enjoyable.

One of the top university in the world and has produced many Nobel Laureate price winner.
An old university which has multiple interesting, beautiful and amazing Gothic architecture. It was founded in 1209, and the second oldest university in the English speaking world and the worlds' fourth-oldest surviving universities.

It have 31 semi autonomous constituent colleges.
It certainly worth your visit just to simply to understand its rich and complicated history while enjoying the wonderful buildings.

Gorgeous city, stayed overnight for 3 days at Magdalene College and had the experience of living like a student. The accommodation and food offered was of extremely high quality, and the food offered in the halls are open to public reservations for an incredible price. The University itself is a grandious place that reminisces its long history. Don't forget to enjoy a punting trip, and to visit as many colleges as you can while you are there.
