I called up because i thought it was my uni but unbeknown to me its the wrong number however i spoke to a lady who said i was being rude when i wasnt annoyed at all or abusive nor was i shouting or swearing i was simply looking for what i thought was someone who could guide me on selecting my module. All i got was a woman who couldnt tell me how i was being disrespectful so i could correct myself and said she'd terminate the call if i continued yet couldn't tell me exactly what i was doing or how i potentially came across so i could improve myself. I called back to complain and find out about selecting my module with another lady i explained but i found her tone to be dismissive and her words she made absolutely no effort to find out who i spoke to or to get it looked into based on the time of the call yet labelled me aggressive when i told her i had just been stereotyped when i was literally being myself. I came to find out its a college but if thats how adults speak to their students i wont be surprised if they shut down soon as the staff have poor attitudes and clearly need to self reflect before stereotyping anyone as its not nice when on the receiving end.
