So my sons 1st induction day. In a previous email he was told he would be there for 4 hours. 1 hour later he was let out, which caused transport problems as I was at work. He said he felt that the tutor didn't really want to be there, he didn't introduce himself, there was no tour round the building, my son was not shown where the toilets were. He was given a timetable to say to start a practical on monday but has already passed his practical at school. Nothing was explained, there was no option at the end for questions. My son has left there today regretting his decision to learn at this college after having 2 options of college when he left school. Choosing this one as it was nearer to home. So not very impressed from his first day. Let's hope they can sort this out and make it better for learning.

I'd give it a zero star if I could. Have done an IT apprenticeship with this campus in the past and even after my role ended at my placement I was still behind on my college work due to the lack of communication from the tutors. More so that I was without a tutor for 6-8 months! If you're planning on doing a college course, or worse an apprenticeship with these - definitely don't do it. Waste of time.

Studied a full level 3 both year Computing course here for two years and I really enjoyed it. The teachers were lovely and supportive and there just isn’t much I can complain about.

Absolute liars I paid for education and college but they couldn't even provide the basics like a professor, in general everything shows absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior that crosses the line of ridiculousness, waste of time for anyone thinking of taking classes there.

Made a delivery, barrier opened automatically, no one challenged me, I wandered around. To leave I was expected to get authority. I consider this very lax security. I could have committed anything after unchallenged entry. Serious security issues.

If it was possible I would rate it MINUS 10 STARS

Please be careful if you are choosing this college I've had countless issues with them.

My personal experience is from the electrical installations level 2

Problem #1
When I've enrolled the course I did sign up to do my course in WELLINGBOROUGH while doing all the interviews I've asked multiple times if the course will be in WELLINGBOROUGH as I was planning to attend it straight after work, everyone assured me that It will be in Wellingborough.

BUT that wasn't true I've received a call just 1 day before the 1st day from which I had to attend the course and I've been told that my course will be in CORBY instead of WELLINGBOROUGH which made impossible to match the course with my schedule so I had to take days of from work instead of matching it together

Problem#2

Massive lack of organisation for every exam 1st they tell you "" "don't worry we will give you 2 we notice so you can arrange attending the exam" ""

Again that wasn't true, for example on one of the exams they told us on FRIDAY that the exam is on the following MONDAY

Problem#3
I'm trying since APRIL to book one of my exams I did speak with all the tutors about it and everyone response was "don't worry I will book it for you and I will send you a text with the date of the exam"

Now is middle of AUGUST still no response!!

I've been calling, emailing, texting.......

NO RESPONSE

IF SOMEONE WITH THE CAPABILITY OF BOOKING MY EXAM IS READING THIS PLEASE DO IT FINALLY

Go up
