Just finished my 5 day training for the electric counterbalance truck. From day one, I knew the outcome of this training. Terry Quigley, the most experienced and amazing trainer I ever worked, made all of us find this course much easier than we thought. Terry is very professional. He is very dedicated, charming, and funny. He pays attention to small details that you'll never consider. He knows how to help you build up the confidence you need, how to make you understand all the regulations, the safety procedures, and the most important thing, he makes you feel like you already win before the final test take place. We've been a group of three people, but none of us feel left outside. We received the best training, and we learned from the best trainer how to operate, take responsibility, and enjoy operating the forklift. All the other trainers around were friendly, smiling at all times, making you feel welcome.
I would definitely recommend Train-A-Lift to everyone who wants to have this kind of training.
I would definitely recommend Terry to everyone who is looking for the best forklift trainer. I might not see him again in 3 years' time when I should have the safety refresh, but I hope this review will help people understand how professional and caring Terry can be.

I am delighted to be able to strongly say that I have enjoyed every moment of my experience with TrainALift. From the moment I walked through the door, to the moment of leaving I felt more than satisfied as a customer. Terry was my instructor and I must say what an absolute credit to the company he is! A true inspiration to all, and being young and just starting out i’ve not only achieved my FLT license i’ve developed some life skills just off how Terry is as a person. Throughout my course he kept me calm and composed and was professional at all times. In contrast to that he was calm and joyful which helped massively as at no point did I feel pressured even when doing the test as he wasn’t full on and didn’t come across as too much. He conducted himself and his training in a very respectful, professional and considerate manner and I could say nothing more than thank you! I would request that Terry’s superior shows him a lot of recognition from this review and appreciation. Aside from Terry being a fantastic instructor I must also add that all the staff that I came across in my 5 days attending TrainALift were all smiley and helpful people. They all offered a welcoming approach and were all so friendly. I shown quite a lot of interest in the instructors course whilst I was here and Chris (another tutor) attended to every question I had and was very helpful! Nick was also fantastic! Overall I can evidentially say I have had a great enjoyable customer experience at TrainALift and have taken very much pleasure in seeing a business thrive! Unfortunately, these days many businesses lack customer service, however TrainALift achieved above and beyond a customer experience and that I am very passionate about being in business myself. Just completed a 10 day instructors course.
I would just like to say a big thank you to Steve our trainer. He put us at ease from day 1 and was so knowledgeable with his many years of experience and teaching over the years.
It was a great course and I will take a lot of what he taught me back to my workplace when I train.
The company itself provided a really realistic environment to train in and the facilities were very good.
If your looking for a company that can train your employees then you should definitely consider Train-A-Lift.

No wonder this company have been operating for so many years. They are excellent!
From the facilities to the staff, everything is top notch.
Whatever lift training you require, you can’t go wrong with this provider.
Comprehensive instruction. Clear and concise guidance.
The team are super friendly and no matter your level of previous experience, they will put you at ease and get the very best out of you.
If I needed further training I would definitely use Train a Lift.
Saying that, the training I received should ensure I have work, at least until the license expires.

Right from the initial enquiry the company has been a pleasure to deal with. That have kept in touch and were able to reassure me the selected ALLMI course would be appropriate to upgrade from the in-house ticket I already had. On the day the trainer, David, was superb. He put me at ease and was patient as I got to grips with something a little different to what I'm used to. Furthermore, having travelled 200+ miles and encountering a problem with my own car on arrival, he introduced me to the neighbouring garage which was able to fix it before the course had finished, saving me a lengthy recovery after a full days course! I'll most certainly be back to do another course when the time is right. Thanks again for everything, thoroughly recommended!!!

Trained here this week. Was initially trained by Roger who is a brilliant teacher. On the last day, Terry finished training me then took me for my test. He is also a brilliant teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed my time and training there. Would highly recommend this company.
