I signed up for the A2 CofC course via UAV Academy - who I highly recommend - after hearing about it through the BMFA. The A2 CofC takes you through a range of topics, all studied at your own pace, which are all necessary to help you fly safely, more effectively and ultimately become a better remote pilot. The section quizzes and final exam are straightforward - just put in the time and effort to understand all concepts presented to you - particularly with concepts you may not have as good an understanding of, apply your learnings out in the field, take notes as you learn/do things and you can't go wrong. If you have questions, need help/advice etc, Andrew of UAV Academy who communicates well is there to help.

Really great experience, signing up was smooth, email responses are very quick, and took no time at all to do the course. They also include a free resit if you don't pass first try (which I highly doubt any one will need since their mock exams are very good), but it's nice to have the safety net available!

I successfully completed and passed the A2 CofC exam today. It was straightforward as the course material was more than ample for answering all of the the questions.

I found UAV very approachable before signing up for the course and all my questions were answered fully via e-mail. Also I was sent my certificate within a couple of hours of completing the exam.

I have no hesitation in recommending UAV to any company or individual UAS pilots seeking to extend their qualifications.

A great course, clear, easy to follow, and primarily text-based rather than video-based, which suits my learning style. A good interface, quizzes, a mock exam, and helpful links to CAA and other remote pilot resources helped reinforce learning. UAV Academy was very responsive to email queries. Thoroughly recommended.

Just completed the A2 CofC with the UAV academy. The course was extremely well laid out and informative. The exam taken online, under exam conditions, was clearly explained and closely monitored, but very easy to follow the instructions given in order to comply with the requirements of taking the exam. I would highly recommend them.

I did my A2 CofC via the UAV Acadamy and it was a very simple process. Course material can be read at your own speed and quick quizzes at the end of each section really gets the subject matter in your head. It was also handy to have 3 free mock exams as well so when you do the final you are ready. All passed, just need to get flying more now.
