Received a gift voucher to treat ourselves to a meal out and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, staff were pleasant and attentive. It was a Saturday evening and the place was super busy yet we didn’t have long to wait from ordering. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend. Bed was very comfy. Rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard. Room was spotless. ||Evening meal was superb. The crispy langoustines starter was a highlight. Only criticism is that the cocktails were on the warm side and not cold enough for my liking. ||Good choice for breakfast in the morning which fuelled us up for a day of sightseeing. ||I’ve recommended to folk back home already. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Hotel was lovely. Staff were excellent. Nothing was a problem. Rooms have just been refurbished and look great. Room 110 doesn’t have a great view at all but wouldn’t put me off. |Breakfast was a touch underwhelming compared to everything else but wouldn’t put me off going back. Recommended.

Probably the best Scottish hotel I've stayed in. The rooms are in a new extension that I understand was opened just a couple of months ago, so are in really good condition - the decor is really nice and well put together. I literally cannot fault the cleanliness - everything was absolutely spotless.

The rooms have big TVs, a decent-sized desk, kettle and tea/coffee, hairdryer, ironing facilities, electronic safe, just your usual stuff. Very spacious, and the beds are big and comfortable. Lots of storage space, too.

The breakfast was nice, just your usual continental/cooked options but the quality was excellent. The dining room has quite a nice elevated view over the town/sea and across to Banff. I didn't bother with evening meals but I gather that it's really highly rated locally.

All the staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly, kindly stored my bag before and after staying.

All in all, 10/10.

I always stay here when I am travelling for work and always enjoy it as being a female I feel safe and the staff are always so welcoming.|I have been given one of the new rooms tonight (gutted I don’t have a terrace) and wow they are absolutely stunning. Every small detail is covered from the amazing shower, beautiful acoustic wall panels to black out blinds and amazing pillows. Even plenty of milk sachets for your tea and coffee still have a beautiful view. The open wardrobe (walk in) with the beautiful veneer panelling with the iron and board slotted in lovely the mini fridge….the small touches. The food is always exceptional!! |Watched the most beautiful sunset tonight….can’t wait to come back in a couple of months.

Having visited for food many times before, we decided to stay over and experience the new rooms on offer and we weren’t disappointed. Our room was extensive with a large terrace and great views over to Banff. Whilst we had a large walk in shower, we also had a large soaking bath. The bed was huge, the mattress, pillows and linen were high-end and very comfortable. The styling, fixture and fittings are in-line with a 5 star hotel. Good selection of Teas/coffees, large flat screen HD tv, mini fridge and plugs with USB and C-link chargers. The only thing missing was a full length mirror, but I’m sure that’s just an oversight.||The food, as usual was well cooked and well presented and our room topped off an amazing evening. Highly recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a real find, selected just by chance. We had a great 3 night stay. The room was lovely, the food delicious and the staff wonderful. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed exploring the whole area and liked Macduff. It is rare to find a hotel where they have gotten everythig right.

Went here for an evening meal last weekend. It was awesome. The food is top-notch. Brilliant views. Friendly staff. Very clean. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be going back.
