Dont bother reading reviews for schools, most of these reviews are terrible because they are posted by pupils with a grudge. Anyone small minded enough to complain about the chicken nuggets in poorly constructed grammar from their glass house doesn't fully understand the concept of irony and is incapable of providing helpful feedback. dont worry, they wont have understood that sentence either! its a good school, look it up in the Gov.uk website, and get yourself a nice piece of cake or something.

It's great other than horrible food, bad mental support, bad hygiene, horrendous teachers, colours consisting of grey.....and grey, and more grey, and this isn't me being bias, the school is genuinely a bad place, pls, don't put your children through hell 😀

After having my two eldest go through the school I couldn’t have recommended a better school, now with the two youngest that are there the school has become more like 1940 Germany !! Kids are punished for little or no reason and the supply teachers are the worst as they don’t know the school rules. They have a new system called bromcom and that is absolutely the biggest waste of time !! There are a few people at the school that are excellent but as a whole it’s rubbish. The schools also failing those that need extra help. The school now have a teacher who is giving them warnings and sending them to the isolation room because of calling him SIR. All because he identifies as non binary Avoid

absolutely revolting. the school air makes me sick to the point that I can’t even breathe. the mental health support is disgusting, and won’t do anything to help you with your well-being. coming from a mental health ambassador too. the canteen food is unhealthy and sickening. the food is overpriced. I can’t have a safe space in this school and it genuinely scares me. it’s like a prison It’s too strict and they say they are preparing you for your future but the clothes im going to wear to work aren’t going to cost £175 will they im not going to be judged and given a detention if I had a shirt untucked. your not allowed in the canteen if you don’t have a badge on too the school rules are ridiculous. Never send your child here

Utterly disgusting, please DO NOT send your children here they will go through immeasurable pain and suffering. Every time I walk through the gate I feel sick, the "Teign Ten" is just an excuse to give pupils unnecessary detentions and add unwanted stress to their already sad lives. The canteen is beyond outrageous, the food shown on the pointless TV screens is way above the standard of the slop we're wasting our family's hard earned money on. Maybe instead of wasting time and resources on stupid TV screens and a WHOLE OTHER CANTEEN for the sixth-formers to use (even though there's only about 10 of them), maybe spend the money on something useful such as: lockers, upgrading ssc or actually maintaining the buildings as there are many areas that have been neglected while stupid A block is being built.
In conclusion: DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILDREN THROUGH THE TORTURE OF TEIGN SCHOOL.

The food is to overpriced and the food is too plain and the same food is every day at least try to mix up the food for everyday . The teachers are way to strict abt uniform and always boss us around like we are in a prison and gives us way to much homework.

Canteen food is trash other then the new pizza pockets ,the burger buns are so floury and dry it’s like getting a mouth full of talcum powder and if you don’t get to lesson before it starts you get introduced by the teachers pasty breath on your face saying “excuse me why are you late and do you have something to say to me”and if that’s not the worst of it if you don’t underline your date and title you get a lifetime of sir/mrs telling you your not gonna make it in life and your career is over thanks to you not underlining it. The uniform is a joke pdt for untucked shirt the trousered rip if you bend even 1 degrees and the shirts and ties strangle you and it costs like £150 for a new set of uniform so much for making poorer students making them feel equal when be struggling to buy the clothes that are alright quality not worth that much and make you wanna rip it all off and when it gets wet the trousers just stick to you like glue overall I’d give Teignschool a 1 for enjoyability in classrooms unless you have a sub or friends next to you a 3 for the uniform it’s just a bit bland as well and last but not least the learning I’d give a 3.5-4 star out of 5 if you could actually stay awake while listening and if you know who I am don’t be coming after me because I be saying what I think is true
