Really disappointing experience with Teaching Personnel. They invited me for an interview at their office, but cancelled via email just two hours before it was due, claiming they were sick. Despite this, they never made any effort to reschedule or follow up, which I found extremely unprofessional.

This wasn’t my first bad experience with them. About a year ago, I spoke to some of their staff, and even they admitted that the company is unreliable. They mentioned that Teaching Personnel often cancels shifts on the morning they’re due, leaving staff without a job.

Based on my experience and what I’ve heard from others, I would strongly advise against working with them. They lack professionalism, reliability, and basic courtesy.

Teaching personnel have been brilliant, I joined just over a year ago and have been in multiple schools for long periods of time, whenever I finished in one school they found me a new one within a day or 2. They are easy to contact and prompt with replies. The whole team have been amazing. I would highly recommend.

Having tried a number of agencies for SEN support work in West Cornwall, I found Teaching Personnel to be the best for my needs.. Other agencies will claim to operate in Cornwall but in reality they are based elsewhere or work from home, whereas TP invited me in to their Truro office to meet the team. My dedicated business manager Connor was professional but also approachable and kept in touch throughout. Now have a full-time position but would not hesitate to use their services again in the future. Highly recommended!
