Visited for a conference. A lovely modern building, with spacious and comfortable rooms. Somewhat hard to navigate for the uninitiated, as EVERY room is numbered (including tiny closets) so that the most important rooms are given quite random numbers (for example, 0.42 being a high-capacity lecture theatre). Bright internal spaces with lots of windows. Occasionally the air conditioning is actually too good.

The TLC is fairly new and clean. Lack of signs means you'll spend half an hour finding the right room on your first visit. The A/C can be very cold in some of the rooms. Overall I can see it becoming more utilised in the future.

Situated just opposite the library the TLC offers a more relaxed way for students to engage in their work. With open plan floors and secure entrances and exits the TLC also remains secure from any COVID fears you may have.
