My children are now 14 and 12 and have been swimming with Richard and Joan for nearly 10 years. It has been wonderful to watch their progress and see them develop their confidence and ability in an environment where they feel safe, happy and cared for. It is a lovely swimming school, the teachers are excellent and I particularly like the fact that it is non-competitive so they can learn without the pressure of having to enter competitions.

I could not thank Joane enough for what she has done for my son.
A traumatising experience has left my son scared of the water and swimming. Thankfully, I have found out about Joane, and I have contacted her for advice and help. She has brought the joy of swimming back into my son's life. It's his favourite activity now. He enjoys the water and is achieving more and more each time. He is consistently praised for his swimming skills when we go abroad.
Joane is a true professional when it comes to teaching swimming to children. She knows how to praise and motivate them to achieve great results!

I cannot recommend this swimming school highly enough. Letchworth Broadway Swimming School is a friendly place which provides a supportive environment for our two boys. Joan and the other teachers employ just the right balance between having fun in the water and developing the childrens’ swimming strokes. Our oldest son is now 9 and has been attending the school for around 5 years, he has always enjoyed attending the classes and we have watched him develop from being an absolute beginner to being accomplished in all of the swimming strokes; he is now part of the advanced class. Our youngest son, who is 6, is moving forward in leaps and bounds and can now swim widths without needing to use floats. As a parent, it is a joy to see them both having so much fun in the swimming pool whilst developing such important skills.
