First time I visited the college today, found the blonde hair receptionist with the classes quite rude, unprofessional and unorganized. Had no knowledge on Class commences and course times, no knowledge of teachers/lecturers in the premises. Was the most experienced and best qualified for my Door supervisor course despite being excused of plagiarism which cost me a job in London with potential manager opportunity waiting for me. This college still has the cheek to email me. After the humiliation they gave me.

Don't bother to attend this college one year on and my son-in-law is still waiting for his certificate and he funded the course himself. Most of the Level 3 Electricians course was self taught so if you are unsure you will have to work it out for yourself. Once enrolled you are on your own.

Completed AAT Level 2 and Level 3 here at Thurrock. College facilities were excellent (apart from the chairs in each classroom as almost half of them were broken in some way - guess that is what happens when you buy cheap chairs). My classes were in the evenings, and unfortunately, some of the classrooms were covered in litter, bins overflowing with fast food rubbish, and college work handouts strewn around.
In regards to my teachers, they were both very knowledgeable and helpful in Year 2. Both teachers had very different teaching techniques, but both went out of their way to help when I needed it. In Year 3 I had a few different teachers as each teacher specialised in different aspects of Accountancy teaching. I was the first of the bunch to sit the AQ2016 syllabus, and unfortunately, the synoptic, theough no fault of the college, was a complete train crash as AAT had not been organised properly.
However, I passed level 2 (as this was AQ2013, you were deemed either competent or not). Level 3, with the introduction of AQ2016, meant you good finish with a pass, merit or distinction. With the help of the tutors, o was able to achieve a distinction.
Unfortunately, the college chose to only hold evening classes for Level 4 at Southend college, which was not practical for me to attend, so I completed Level 4 at Havering College.
Once again, special thanks to my teachers at Thurrock, Denise and Terry.

I went to this placed and enrolled and everything to only just 3 days before I start school they cancel the course just cause there wasn’t enough people. Don’t go and plan a course a whole time table and days teachers will teach to then cancel the course for everyone and mess up there stuff because there’s not enough people. It’s outrageous and I’m disappointed.
