Having completed the 6 weeks basics course I can highly recommend Sign + Learn.
I hadn’t taken up baby sign before thinkingI might find it too hard to stick to. The way Ioanna runs sign + learn has been clear and easy to understand. My son was 7 months old when we started the course, he is now just shy of 9 months and is able to understand signs I use at home and has started to make signs himself. My son enjoys the songs and try’s to copy the actions. I find the link between the songs and the signs we are learning that week brilliant as it keeps the signs fresh in my mind.
We have booked onto the advanced classes for next term as we have enjoyed it so much.

Me and my 6/7 month old Baby did Ioanna's 6 week baby sign course held at the Little Gem. We loved learning the signs. Penny especially enjoyed the songs and bubbles. Thanks Ioanna for a fun baby course!

My baby and I have absolutely loved the sing and sign classes with Ioanna. The classes are fun, well paced and informative. The signs are well taught and useful for every day life and communication with a little one, and the songs are lots of fun. I love that Ioanna brings toys, books and bubbles to keep the little ones entertained and to help with teaching the signs. I highly recommend these classes for anyone wanting to do an engaging activity with their baby/toddler and to learn to better communicate.

Ionnas classes are informative, fun and interactive. My 11 months old absolutely loves it.
The combination of stories and rhymes really do keep the little ones entertained.
I would highly recommend the classes if you’re looking to learn and play with your little one in a relaxed environment.

These sessions have been invaluable. We have learnt so much about communication with our little one. Ioanna shares tips that have proven to be really useful every day to help our baby understand and be understood. Our baby's face lights up when she sees we are joining even though it is online, and she loves hearing/seeing the songs outside of the sessions. At 11 months she now has several signs she uses herself and understands so many more. Highly recommend!!

Ioanna genuinely loves teaching baby signing and my little girl was very happy to see her every week and learn new songs! THE best class I could have hoped for. Ioanna is super professional and experienced. My baby girl loves going to sign class to learn songs and signs, meet other babies, and play with bubbles. Ioanna helps create a very comfortable and safe space for both babies and mamas; which is super important to help both babies and mamas learn from each other and talk about our struggles, specially as first time parents during a pandemic. We love going to Ioanna's baby signing class each week. Ioanna really gets to know and includes everyone there.
I can't believe how many signs we have learnt over the first six weeks. I wasn't sure I would be able to remember them but Ioanna teaches them in a way that you learn them without realising. It's great now seeing my little girl react to some of the signs I do at home so I know she is undertanding them and will soon start signing back. Baby signing is such a great skill to help your little one communicate.
We've just started another term, it's great to be back, thanks Ioanna 😁
