Family friendly place, lovely food and beautiful grounds. Plenty for the kids to do and keep them entertained. Went twice during August - first time was quite quiet and second visit was a hive of activity as it was the Family fun day, BBQ and opening of the new wetland area Squelch. Lovely experience on both occasions, have recommended it to family and friends. Coincidental finding on our holiday travels.

Went here twice today, first time to go to the cafe, but it was full, so went to the pub next door instead. The second time we went the cafe had emptied out so I had a scone with cream and it was very nice too. There are numerous walks you can do around the centre which we tried out for a bit of exercise, but it was raining so didn't go too far. Lots to see and do, ideal place for the school holidays.

Had drinks and used facilities, warm friendly atmosphere. Walked in the grounds very spacious and beautiful. Also visited allotment site where found a positive atmosphere where some child groups are run. I think on a volunteer basis. Shropshire Hills can be proud it does so well.

Tickets can be bought on the day. Visited on quite a muddy day, so walking around the walk area was dirty business but fun with kids and a dog. Tickets to visit the indoor museum could ve bought on the day. Parking free, but you can make a small donation. It was cute to see a mud scraper as we got back to clean shoes. You can visit everything within a few hours. Step free disabled access inside the building. Along the walk, you also find play areas for kids and assault courses. I would visit again.

We had a nosey round the books in the gift shop and purchased a few. We then had coffee a little disappointing a machine coffee so not the best coffee we've had. Lovely seating areas inside and out. We then did a circular walk starting at the centre. There are some amazing views. A very enjoyable day. We returned to the centre just in time for ice-cream a couple of minutes before it closed 5pm.

Met my college friend here for lunch yesterday. Great place for gifts, food and walks.

It was quite busy trying to park the car before entering the building. Paid my parking fee. Went into the restaurant, found my friend and we both quequed but the staff were doing a great job, serving customers and giving orders to the kitchen. I have done this job, its not easy especially at busy times. Beef & veg pie with new potatoes & veg and a Victorian lemonade. All good back to the seat to chat and wait. Not long and
our meals were served. Very tasty and enjoyable.
