I don't recommend this school to anyone with learning struggles or who has been out of school for a long time and struggle with loud environments and crowds. You may think so that's what every school is like but this school doesn't listen to their pupils. My experience at this school damaged my mental health I used to love it when I first started but then they got all bitchy with me and stuff. For example I hate going into lessons cause their normally way too loud or too many pupils in the class and it's intimidating especially when your new and everyone stares at you and asks you questions, they used to yell at me to get off my phone when I tried ringing childline cause they were stressing me out and they said I could ages ago and they told me off for doing so same for when i rang my carers cause they were still stressing me out till the point i snapped at them and they suspended me, my carers have told them numerous times that I won't work in a main stream school but they ignored that and kept me in anyways.

Teachers don’t let you give your side of the story when you get in trouble. The dinners are overpriced, £2.60 for a panini and an apple juice is diabolical. Bullying is taken as a joke, people get called fat and the teachers can clearly here them and they do NOTHING about it

This is by far the best school in the North East. I currently go to this school and moving into year 8. I couldn’t be happier, year 7 was the most exciting, fun, awesome and relaxing year of school i’ve ever had. I bet year 8 will be even better. Can’t wait to go back. 🙂

From a personal view, I can say that Sedgefield Community College has changed a lot to what it used to be.
I, to this day, go to this school and although the first few years are quite simple, when you get to year 11, there is constant persistence. Best staff but the teachers tend to leave after a year or so because they constantly eliminate the weakest links.
Pretty good school.

Sedgefield Community College is a place were bullying is allowed to happen, to staff do nothing about it teacher put the students down and students are not reaching their potential!

I went to this school I left due to bullying and no-one was there for me, and also I was in bottom classes getting told I wouldn't be able to get to were I wanted to be in the future and now I'm a targeted Grade B student, happy and have been accepted into college, and I am achieve my most potential because I left Sedgefield Community College.

THAT SCHOOL WAS MY WORST NIGHTMARE COME TRUE!
