My experience at Riddlesdown from across the years.

My years at Riddlesdown Collegiate were not the cherished school experience one hopes for but a time I’d rather forget. The supposed "excellent education" came at the cost of my mental health and physical well-being, leaving scars that still linger. I was a diligent pupil, eager to succeed, but Riddlesdown's relentless workload pushed me to the edge.

The mountain of homework was insurmountable. Night after night, I’d sit at my desk, eyes heavy with exhaustion, struggling to complete assignments that seemed designed to break me rather than educate me. On more than one occasion, I’d fall asleep with my head on textbooks, waking up in a panic at 3 a.m., knowing I hadn’t done enough. Sleep deprivation became a constant companion, and with it came anxiety and feelings of worthlessness.

The mental abuse was subtle but pervasive. Teachers who should have been supportive instead berated us for minor mistakes, making us feel like failures if we couldn’t meet their impossible expectations. The pressure was unbearable, and the lack of empathy from staff only made it worse.

Riddlesdown Collegiate isn’t a school; it’s a factory that churns out broken young people. No child deserves to endure what I and many others have. This place should be shut down before it ruins more lives.

A ton of teachers used the excuse of something "being their responsibility" to tell your parents stuff you wouldn't like them to know about but when it comes to something actually important they just don't notice. It's not the worst school to exist but they really should give the student a say in if they want their parents to get involved in something. I dunno if all schools are like that, but yeah. 😭

Would you like an honest detailed review on this school? Well look no further - this school has a serious issue with bullying nd they are unprofessional when it comes to fixing situations they believe situations based on majority unless evidence is given proving otherwise which has seriously affected mine and my friends mental health i myself have been diagnosed with depression after being targeted by teachers throughout a 5 year span of going to this school they have repeatedly sent my parents emails that arent truthful due to the fact they believe situations based on majority which has caused me alot of grief nd upset as a Male i will admit this school has caused me multiple breakdowns however all around the education they offer isnt half bad if i had to rate the subjects i did personally out of 10 based on the amount of information that was provided to me i would say 6/10 English, 9/10 maths, 3/10 sports science 7/10 media, 9/10 science, 4/10 Design technology/DT 6/10 business. My personal account of my experience at this school is at the start of year 7 i went into the school expecting to try and get good grades however i was bullied at the start of the year due to the colour of my skin i am personally a lighter tone of mixed race which made people pick on me i was called names such as: micheal jackson, digga c, central bee, which greatly affected my mental health and caused me to chase popularity in the school this then caused my grades to go downhill i informed teachers of this but not much was done to help the students where only punished which decreased my popularity nd increased the amount of bullying I received nd how hard it was to make friends in the school people in this school for some reason seem to chase a road lifestyle even though i could easily see that wasnt the life they where living due to this image being what makes people popular in this school it made me chase that to a point where i became a whole other person nd forgot about grades completely i am now towards the end of year 11 i have been kicked out of the school for the same thing my friend has been let off for on multiple occasions nd now they are making me do work from home even though i dont even know the curriculum my grades have gone completely down the bin due to this nd i believe now they will never be able to recover nd ive almost completely lost hope for my gcses

The baguettes at break are poisonous after i ate one i had diarrhoea straight for 3 weeks then when i went to the hospital i found out my whole stomach had been torn apart from the fibres in the bread. Apparently the bread was also a product of mould.
