If you love computers and game consoles from yesteryear such a then this place is for you!!

This shrine to items such as Amstrad, Commodore 64, Atari, Sega and so much more, is a true haven created and run by a lovely family and volunteers who are passionate and full of knowledge.

There is the main room where the historical computers and game consoles are, another room which my son and I didn’t get time to go into and an arcade room which also houses VR games.

Upstairs is a library with computer magazines, manuals, game cartridges, floppy discs….and more!!

Most definitely worth a look. Best thing about it is that you can actually use the computers and consoles! My son and I stayed until it closed!!

You can buy hot and cold drinks and snacks which can be consumed whilst using the consoles.

Entry is £8.50 for adults and £5.00 for children. Under 4’s have free entry. Group prices are present on the website.

The Retro Computer Museum is only open on Saturday and Sunday.

After being in the computer retail business since the early 80s, visiting this place has been a long-held wish of mine. Finally, today, I had the opportunity to fulfill that wish, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Seeing all those retro PCs and gaming machines, most of them still in working order, was truly mind-blowing. I even had the chance to get my hands on a few and try them out.

What's even more exciting is that the owner mentioned plans for a bar and library opening on-site soon. It's great to see that the space is evolving to offer even more to its visitors.

One of the highlights for me was seeing so many parents bringing their kids along, and watching them all enjoy the retro games together. It's a wonderful place that combines nostalgia with pure fun. If you're looking for a trip down memory lane or just a great time, this place is an absolute must-visit.

I've had two kids parties hereand both kids and parents loved it. Every computer you can think of. Just ask for a game (eg. super Mario/ wonder boy) and stagffwill set it up. Or just play a console already set up. There's a room full of arcade machines including pin ball machine, driving games, street fighter, pacman, paperboy. If you can remember it, they'll have it! Fully hands on. Bargain price for hours of fun. Lovely outside area that's a sun trap.

Great afternoon out for the kids and the grown ups. Every game you can think of is available to play on computers / consoles from past decades to current day, which you can tell are looked after well. Snacks and drinks available. A separate section for upright gaming. They will soon be opening a library too. The staff were very helpful and if you can't find a particular game they will find it for you. Reasonably priced and they have a loyalty card to build up to a free visit.

Well, that was great fun. We started in the library bit, which I loved, then to the console room which both the kids and I loved. After a few hours in there on a multitude of different consoles from across the ages, we hunted each other in the linked PC room (my son's favourite) and then the arcade! Hours of fun. Highly recommended

Oh my days what a fab experience! A total trip down memory lane with all my old favourites! Spent hours of fun amongst others wanting the same experience and not a single unhappy person in the building. I loved everything about the place and the volunteers running it were superb in every way! Thank you all so much for a really fab day. We will be back very soon xx
