I started training at React about a year ago and time has just flown by. The team is amazing and really friendly, there’s a lovely community spirit and everyone is always keen to help in or outside the gym. Professor Ian is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and he offers classes for all levels. I started as a complete beginner and now I’m looking to do my first competition, this wouldn’t have been possible without him and the React team. If anyone wants to start training BJJ, React is the place to go!

I started at Reactbjj around 18 months ago. I was immediately welcomed to the team and made to feel like I was part of a family. Professor Ian, is not only an expert and highly knowledgeable in bjj but he is also a great person, who really takes his time to get to know his students and i cannot thank him enough for his support. Since joining 18 months ago, I have lost around 8 stone and I feel better both mentally and physically.

The kids classes look awesome too! All the kids seem to absolutely love it, so as soon as my little one is old enough, he will be joining the kids classes!

My son and I have been trying with Professor Ian at React BJJ for over 2 years now. I can honestly say, walking through those doors changed my life for the better. Professor Ian has created such a fantastic BJJ school with an incredible community feel to it.
I was definitely apprehensive about trying it but after my first class, where I was made to feel very welcome, I was completely hooked. The adult and kids classes are fantastic, you can even get private tuition too.
My fitness, confidence and mental well-being have all improved massively......
I literally can't get enough of this sport now!

I was at a different club before I joined React and I must say, I have learned more in half the time since joining than I did elsewhere.
It's a fantastic environment with friendly and supportive team mates. Ian has created a fun and safe place to learn and train with excellent and effective teaching techniques.
If you're looking to start in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu or change clubs, React is the perfect choice!

What an absolutely amazing and fantastic place to learn Jiu-jitsu! Only been here a matter of weeks and have been made to feel more welcome than I could ever have imagined. You are immediately treated like family and you soon feel like you've been here for years. Professor Ian is excellent and delivers very high quality instruction with every class taught. The coaching staff are friendly and welcoming and help facilitate all needs and levels. The gym culture is safe and supportive. 1 year of training done, looking forward to many more with React BJJ based in Horwich.
