I’m so proud to have met PACT’s exacting standards to qualify as an ABTC Animal Training Instructor (ATi).

Although I didn’t train with PACT originally – this route wasn’t available when I started my journey as a trainer – it was really important to me to have my skills and ethics recognised by an organisation with such high standards.

The process was extremely thorough and rightly so – this is far from simply completing an online course and receiving a certificate. Every element of the assessment is designed to ensure trainers are working to the highest professional and ethical standards, backed by science and compassion.

The team were incredibly supportive and made me feel welcomed and valued throughout.

I’m delighted to now be a full member of PACT and to stand alongside so many kind, ethical, and knowledgeable trainers who share the same commitment to animal welfare and evidence-based training.

I am now a fully accredited member of PACT as an Animal Training Instructor (ATI), I went through the assessment route as I have been working in the industry as was already accredited as an AT. All of the staff I spoke with at PACT were so lovely and welcoming, everything was very professional and I felt my skills and knowledge were really tested to ensure I had up to date methods, which makes becoming accredited even more of an achievement!

I also completed the Perfect Puppy Course last year which was really thorough and interesting. It had lots of different videos and step-by-step guides which I still use everyday in my classes now.

I would recomend PACT to anyone looking to get accredited and can recommend any PACT accredited trainer as they know their stuff!

As a now (very proud) PACT accredited ATI, I could not recommend learning with PACT more.

I am also doing the Complete Puppy Course which is stuffed full of information that every dog lover, trainer and owner can only benefit from. Steve is an amazing teacher who really really cares about making sure all Guardians can have a lifelong relationship with their dog.

The courses are thorough and can be challenging but they provide you with a true depth of knowledge which will properly equip you to be a dog trainer. The teachers are so wonderful and everyone in the team has a dog's and a human's wellbeing at the core of what they do.

Only after working with PACT do I feel truly empowered to work with dogs. The teaching they provide is fabulous.

Having closed my business as a dog trainer when relocating, the urge and opportunity to rejoin the profession came but my accreditations had lapsed. PACT stood out as a group that shared my ethos, and this was confirmed in spades every time I contacted them regarding my theory and practical assessments. The process was thorough and supportive and I'm proud to be a newly qualified full member!

I have just completed my PACT ATI course and am now a Full PACT member. I can honestly say this was the best course I have ever done. I have been a Dog walker and boarder for the last 8 years and have always been interested in becoming a Dog Trainer. When I was looking at courses it was always very important to me to find somewhere that shared my ethical, force free ethos around training. I have always used these methods in training my own dogs so it was very important to me. I was so pleased I found PACT and it was the best decision ever. The course was amazing and so well structured. All the PACT team are so supportive and give great feedback and great constructive criticism to help you improve your skills along the way. There is a real sense of community with all the other PACT full members and students. If you are hesitant about signing up to do the course, please do not think twice. It will be the best decision you make.

I am working as a dog trainer now and my learning experience also gave me an opportunity to work in an animal charity for dog training.

I can't imagine how I could step in the new career path without help from PACT. As I was making progress at work, I often have the eureka moments in terms of why certain content was delivered in the course, and feels that I am getting much deeper understanding of the content. I also recommended PACT to my colleagues and people I met who are interested to dog behaviour. One of my colleague decided to join the course in April this year, and I and my dog will be able to help him with his first step in this field. It is such a happiness for me.

Learning with PACT also gave me the confidence to adopt a rescue dog. I will never forget how supportive I was feeling when I was not able to attend the mutual 2nd fieldwork because of the training plan for my dog, and PACT kindly let me join the fieldwork with another class. The dog who showed strong reactions to people, dog and environment is now a confident happy tail. She helped me in class as a training assistant, and her enthusiasm of developing new environment has encouraged a lot shy dogs to explore the world and gain confidence. She is also happy to do Emergency Stop during play when I notice her playful play style may overstimulated or worried the other dog. She also go out with us as part of the family frequently, even offered Settle for 2hrs in central London restaurants. Most of her cues are taught or inspired from PACT course. She will not be able to open her mind for the world as much as she is doing now without PACT.

I feel it is such a luxury to learn with PACT. It does not only guide me in behaviour world but also radiated my family members and will impact me in the long future of my life with dog behaviour.
