The price doesn't match the quality, the equipment is old and often broken. Half of the gyms were closed for six months, and no one did anything for six months. After reopening, work suddenly began, and there are constant disruptions. The locker rooms stink (probably water or pipes that need replacing). There's no option to buy a gym-only membership—you have to pay for everything, even if you don't use the pool. If it weren't for the hard work of the trainers, who care about relationships and client satisfaction, most would have quit after their first visit. In my opinion, everything needs a complete overhaul and replacement. I just want to thank the few trainers who are still fighting for this place. 🙂 I just canceled my membership. Good luck.

💩💩💩gym ever. Old equipment. You have to be careful not to break anything during exercise. I used this gym for two years, but in recent weeks I've been very disappointed and decided to quit today. The lady at the membership arena is constantly eating. In my opinion, the employees at Everyone Active should set an example, not discourage you. I don't recommend it and I advise against it. The locker rooms are dirty and the showers smell. 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢💩💩It's a shame the trainers have to listen to all the complaints because they are really nice and helpful. Not recommend this gym.

The centre takes a very long time to move your child from one stage to the next, which is really annoying. Your child's teachers don't even care about their progress or offer them encouragement. The longer the child stays in same stage n not advance, the happier the centre is from the business point of view. The teachers are still far away from testing my child, who has been in stage 6 for 40 weeks. I can see that he can swim all strokes and pass the present level, but the centre isn't bothering to upgrade him. To add more on this, I find it frustrating that his teacher doesnt point the areas of improvement if there are any.

There are a few issues - the changing room is filthy. Dirty nappies, hair, smells awful. Needs a huge revamp and perhaps a bit more consideration from users.

The timings for adults really aren’t good either. They run weekday sessions for lane swimming 7-3pm (peak work time) and then one session at 9pm. Nothing for adults on Saturday at all and then not until 2pm on Sunday.

I appreciate they have a lot of swimming lessons but there’s much smaller EA pools around the country (my last centre was tiny in comparison (who split the pool into lanes and swim lesson zones. Similarly with family swim and lanes.

It’s a shame but it is more of a youth club / swim school than anywhere to seriously exercise.

The equipment is pretty good when it’s working. Some of the staff are really on the ball but others are not. The app that you have to use now there’s only half a gym available because of structural problems with the building doesn’t always work. It’s not worked on my phone despite updating the app and following the instructions I know that there’s lots of others that struggle to use the app to book it’s Often left short staffed on the front desk to book in so you can be there waiting in awhile and the car park machines are often playing up

After training in several gyms in the West Midlands and abroad I can say without a shadow of a doubt this has to be the worst gym i I have been to in years. Nearly every piece of gym machinery is rusted to the point you physically have to pull the smith machine down during bench press. The building has been broken and ‘under repair’ since January and there seems to be no end in sight to this tragedy. This means the children’s pool is closed and it was the only reason I chose this gym initially so my daughter could swim! I’ve come to realise the bath tub would probably do better! The younger staff are very kind… that’s about the good thing I can say about this place.
There are about 4-5 other gyms in the area that are much better and cheaper definitely check your options before locking in here!!
You’ve been warned!

Pingles Leisure Centre just gets more and more frustrating the more you try to deal with them.
Last year my 4 year old was kept in stage 1 longer than he needed to be because there were too many children in the class which meant what he was achieving wasn't being noticed. I moved his class to a new teacher and his first lesson with her she said 'he doesn't need to be in this class' and immediately moved him up which means I'd been paying for stage 1 lessons that he didn't need.
I tried to talk to a manager about this but spoke to someone on reception about it and he was extremely rude and basically refused to let me speak to the manager. It was only when I put in an enquiry online that she came back to me but even on that phone call she wasn't really listening to what I had to say and kept talking over me.
I have just tried to ring to cancel my sons lessons and got through 4 times but was hung up every time before even speaking to someone (but I could hear people talking in the background) on the 5th time I got through and they took no responsibility for it and just said 'I don't know why that happened'
I find the staff rude with no customer service at all, the changing rooms smell like wee most of the time and there isn't enough big baby change stalls for all the pushchairs that get brought in.
The last row of changing rooms by the showers are always flooded too which means you basically can't use them to get dressed.
Some of the swim teachers are lovely but they just have too many children in each class to manage them well.

My swimcwas good and lovely shower afterwards but was disappointed to still see the leisure pool with no water in it.
Such a shame as would have been great for the children at Easter.
