I have seen the building on Google ..Looking nice ..it's a mixture of British architecture and Muslim traditional style of building No doubt Credit goes to present king then Prince who appointed Abdul Alwakeel for the construction of building which would be part of Oxford University the symbol of Education from centuries. The most important that Oxford centre for Islamic studies calls all important head of Muslim countries and scholars in this building.
It is the bond of Love between British and Muslim World

An amazing new addition to the rich list of sites of interest in Oxford. The OCIS blends western styles of architecture with Islamic ones, managing in the process to celebrate the best of both, which is a truly remarkable feat. We were given a guided tour by the Bursar who is a mine of information and was able to describe the details of the various features and the contributions that each of the participating countries made to the project. The gardens are particularly attractive. They are not huge but the theme of the fusion of the two styles continues there with a sunken quintessentially English garden flanked by a more formal Islamic one but with water being the common feature link the two area, in a very successful and effective way. It's well worth a visit and in a good day you can continue your visit of Oxford down the footpath to Mesopotamia and the University Parks.

The director Dr Farhan Ahmad Nizami, I found very rude, arrogant and cold during my interview. Going forward ensure that your approach is more welcoming and not intimidating and side-note don’t continue to look at the window when someone’s talking especially during the interview-sorry if I didn’t amaze you enough!

The Masjid and the garden is fascinating. However, it does not feel like a Masjid environment which should be inviting, welcoming
1- there’s time restriction. It’s not open all the time .we can only access the Masjid 15min before prayer
2- children below 5 years old are not allowed . The guards would shoo you away if you come with a baby
3- it is very hard to build and connect with Muslim community cause you need to rush to leave. If the Masjid is accessible any time then we as Muslim can connect and build a strong community

the mosque is beautiful to pray in, the facilities are excellent and the imam is very knowledgeable and gives excellent and relevant/pertinent sermons, just the right length of time.
