A living sculpture of a reclining lady. Made from soil & rock from a nearby open cast mine.
I love things that are different & this certainly was that. Can climb to the top of her head for views down her body & the surrounding land.
A lovely coffee shop on site selling food too. Free to visit they just ask for a donation for the car park.

We went on a slightly miserable week day so we had the whole place to ourselves. Theres a decent hour of walking if you want to do all the paths, we did about a 3 mile walk in an hour. Its a shame people are ignoring the keep to path signs and damaging the sculpture

Beautiful and spectacular views. Good for walks and amusement when making sense of the lady of the north structure with friends or family. And there's a lovely coffee shop next to the car park area. Also close to public transport accessibility like bus stops.

We arrived and ate our picnic in the car park as we saw nothing to indicate that there were several lovely picnic benches through the wood at the start of the walks.
We enjoyed trying to work out which part of the body we had climbed! I don't know if originally the mounds were numbered but it would improve the walks if this was to be done.
