Such a great time had by my three children. Fantastic instructor. Beautiful beaches. Thank you Jon for your patience.

We only booked the day before so this was an unexpected highlight of our Northumberland holiday. Jon was brilliant and spent lots of time helping my enthusiastic 7 year try stay on the board. We came away on a complete high and could have stayed hours longer. Thanks Jon! We'll hopefully be back over one day.

Loved having a go and surfing, John and Amber made it so fun for complete novices! Lots of fun, laughs and would definitely come back!

Always a great session with Jon and Northside Surf. The provide great expertise in how to get to standing up and importantly how to get back on board when you fall off - which is part of the fun....especially if needing to cool off. I already recommend Northside surf to friends thinking of a fun day out....The route is generally from Able Braid up stream to Warkworth - see the castle form the middle of the river and then back. The river is deep enough but at 5 11 I can stand up in places and water be only chest high. Give it a try you won't be disappointed

Absolutely amazing day, such a perfect way to enjoy the sea in Amble. Jon and his team were fantastic, very helpful, knowledgeable, skilled and made our girls feel very welcome. The stretch of beach used for the surfing was carefully chosen allowing the youngsters to enjoy every minute of this brilliant experience. We would highly recommend using Jon and the Northside Surf activities whilst you’re on holiday in this area.

Absolutely fab experience enjoyed by the whole family (49, 17 & 13). Jon was helpful, kind and funny, and let everyone go at their own pace. The paddleboard trip to Warkworth was great, and even some rain on the way back didn’t dampen the vibe. Topped off by warm showers at the end. Highly recommended

Very patient instruction from Jon in the wild and windswept Cresswell Bay! Will be going back for a Stand Up Paddleboard session!!
