Extremely rude and incompetent jobsworth women on the counter.
Asked for a signed special delivery envelope, was told that I had to buy it from the co-op. I said 'it's a signed envelope they're behind you' she rolled her eyes and passed it through the gap saying that it's not prepaid. I said well charge me for it then as I want to send my passport off. She said they're shut in 5 minutes (1625 seems a bizarre time to cut the post off) I pointed out that it doesn't take 5 minutes to charge a customer and post an envelope. She rolled her eyes and just said no without offering any explanation. I've worked a post office counter previously, it's very clear she just cannot be bothered to do her job and is extremely unprofessional. Needs sacking immediately.

Had a moneygram transfer to collect. I'd never done one. The lady serving had never done one. It took two attempts on two different days to get it all sorted. The same lady helped me twice. It took 40 minutes to sort it. She was brilliant. Helpful, patient, understanding, and honestly, I think without her help, I might have cracked up! I didn't even get her name, but she was brilliant. Would without a doubt recommend this post office to anyone!

Appalling waiting times. Spent an hour and twenty minutes outside waiting while the closing time is falsely advertised and is actually 5pm. If you want a more reliable and faster service I highly reccomend going to Newport.

The manager is rude and lacking customer service skills. Her co workers and more respectful and politer. She should clearly take some advice from them!

I remember why I avoid going to this Post Office. Not open again despite checking the opening/closing time on the website just before leaving home. I have lost count how many times over the years I’ve gone only to find it closed. I find it a hassle travelling into Newport but their hours are more reliable and staff a lot more friendly/welcoming/helpful.

Just awful service. Waiting in line to send a small package and when being served asked to pay for the padded envelope at the front till only to queue again to send package. Nonsense. Hoping the town Central in Cowes will reopen at some point

The manager in there is so rude, along with one or two of her staff. I would rather drive to the one in Newport rather than the 2 minute walk up the road! She talks to you like you are stupid, thinks she is above everyone else living, and is a complete jobsworth! If I had the choice of 0 stars, I would have selected that rather than 1.

The manager is horrible, I agree.
I went to change money and she wanted to make me the change of the money at a rate of 6 pences of difference with the rate announced officially outside. When I noticed to her the difference she maked different excuses none of which was true also talking me in a rough and uneducated way.
If you go to change money pay attention on the rate she applies to the operation.
People out of hours very gentle.

Shocking service can't even file a simple v62 form because staff are ill trained and the ones that are trained aren't available. Do yourself a favour and and go to a post office that are able to provide the service you would expect from one.
