Marinella is an excellent teacher. Having spent a while finding the best Italian classes for myself, I'm so glad I chose Marinella's. Her teaching method is engaging, fun and encompasses everyday conversational Italian, as well as giving you a good understanding of grammar, verbs and tenses. Being one-to-one, confidence grows quicker and your progress is so much faster! I couldn't recommend Marinella's Italian classes more highly!

I've been having Italian lessons with Marinella for around 6 months now and have learnt so much whilst also thoroughly enjoying myself! Marinella is a pleasure to learn with - she's friendly, fun and motivating. She challenges you whilst also being patient and understanding, too. Its like hanging out with a friend with the bonus of also learning Italian! Would definitely recommend to anybody interested in learning Italian in a more informal, accessible way 🙂

I have enjoyed both learning Italian and taking Yoga lessons with Marinella
over many years, she is a wonderful and enthusiastic teacher. I would highly recommend her to anyone from beginners to advance as she will tailor her lessons to you personally and will incorporate information about the Italian way of life which makes the whole learning process so much more worthwhile.

Thanks to Marinella's one-to-one lessons my confidence in speaking and using Italian has increased enormously. I've had a wonderful time learning Italian with Marinella. We initially started with well structured lessons and then as I improved the lessons became more conversational and focused on areas that needed attention. My husband who speaks fluent Italian could not believe how quickly I improved! We can now have evenings together speaking Italian! Marinella has been a fabulous teacher and I am very grateful for the time and effort she has invested in teaching me Italian. It's been fun to meet her at a cafe or at her house or even over Skype (useful during the pandemic). I would totally recommend having lessons with her to anyone looking to speak Italian.

Two months of study so far and with Marinella's help I'm already so much more comfortable speaking and conversing in Italian. For lifting your studies out from the textbook and into actual application there is no better practice than speaking to a real Italian, having genuine conversations that are subtly guided towards your learning.
Marinella has quickly picked up where I need practice and weaves it into conversations otherwise designed to get you 'thinking' in Italian, listening to others and expressing yourself authentically rather than fiddling about with generic exercises. She's a fantastic teacher, very supportive and great fun. Oh, and the coffee is lovely!

I have had Italian lessons with Marinella for a number of years, most recently via Skype which has worked well for us both. The lessons are always enjoyable. Marinella will judge the student’s capabilities in the initial meeting and will gear the material, pace of lessons etc to individual needs. Most definitely not like language learning at school, the atmosphere of her lessons enables you to feel confident as you progress in your journey learning this beautiful language.
