As a disabled student without a formal diagnosis during my time at the college, I struggled significantly with exams. I requested learning disability testing, given that the college has funding to support students with such assessments, but was repeatedly told, 'We can't see a ticket raised for you.' My A-levels suffered as a result, leading to the loss of a university offer. The emotional toll was severe; I ultimately had to withdraw from university, and the impact extended to my family, as my parent had to change jobs and relocate to support me, which resulted in considerable financial strain.

When I raised these concerns in a formal complaint, I felt dismissed initially, and later, I felt blamed. The college cited my grades, suggesting they were inconsistent with the impact of a disability, which I found dismissive and disheartening. Now, they refuse to acknowledge my complaints altogether.

In my experience, Loughborough College has shown little regard for equity or fairness. While the teachers are exceptional, I have found the college’s administrative handling of student support to be lacking in empathy and accountability. Though they promote diversity and equality policies, I found them to be more performative than substantive.

I wish I could rate them lower.

The college is decent, but their careers advisor lacks proper guidance and tends to push university as the only viable option, without exploring other career paths.

Brilliant college with brilliant staff. The members of staff focus on students before anything else which I believe to be quite important.

An absolutely wonderful College, and I will tell you why: it supports people from the neighbouring Sense College, formally Known as RNIB Vocational College for people like myself who are visually impaired. I should know because I went there. That was quite a few years ago, back in the 90s.

This college is 100% the worst in the country unless your doing sports. 60% of students don't show up to class, and when they do bullying and harassment towards both teachers and students happens without punishment (so much for FREDDIE values). Last minutes changes to timetables, teachers, classrooms, and exams are a constant! Not to mention that if a teacher favours a student they are willing to help do the WHOLE assignment for them to increase their overall look, which is straight up cheating. oh and first year teachers, are a constant so if you don’t know what to do don’t worry the teachers won’t either.
I once had a teacher he would constantly look at my friends chest! and once it was reported nothing happened, he was able to keep his job and would still make the girls feel uncomfortable.
