Manager is rude and picks on people and decides she’s doesn’t want to let them in for absolutely no reason. I can understand fees, and timing and I was happy to pay the entrance fee despite the lack communication on that as well. But the manager gave me one look and decided she wasn’t letting me in. I tried speaking with all the other staff who were so kind and understanding, however they also said there’s not really much they can do once their boss says no. Just disappointed because it looked so nice inside maybe when the bar gets a new manager I’ll attend .

Do NOT go here, especially if you’re not in a big group. I live very close to Lit Clapham, but had never attended until last night. I spent £30 on a VIP ticket and so did my friend. We make it through the queue (mind you this still took around 20 minutes). So, we get in and we’re there for around an hour and half. We were planning to spend our entire night there and since we spent £30 each, I think that’s reasonable. The manager, or whoever it is that was in charge last night was completely unprofessional and rude. As a business you have an obligation to fulfill the description laid out on the ticket (per the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Sure, I would understand if my friend and I were extremely intoxicated, but we weren’t. We go out for a smoke after 5 drinks each (2 of those weren’t even at your bar), and talk to a man standing outside the fence. After 2 minutes, a security guy walks over to us and tells us we need to leave. We, of course, ask why. He mumbled something about us being too drunk, which is completely ridiculous. We came to a bar to GET drunk so of course we were intoxicated, but neither of us were so much as slurring our words or stumbling or anything. It was also an embarrassing experience. My friend is visiting from America and it’s his first time leaving his home country. You ruined his experience last night, and I think I deserve AT LEAST an answer why. Perhaps you didn’t like the way we look or speak because we both have accents? I would like to speak with the short woman who had hair up in a bun and big eyes. You are not cut out for this line of work, and that is clear to every customer who attended last night. Obviously it must be difficult to manage a bar, but you treated us like we weren’t even human. None of your staff would take me seriously and one of them made sexist comments. Although, I don’t blame them. I could tell they had to listen to the small manager woman (I asked for her first name but no one would tell me). At one point this manager woman screamed in my face in front of many other people. At another point, she went for a smoke break and refused to speak with us to tell us why we were kicked out. Mind you, she screamed at us when we tried to speak with her. You need to sort out your management and get someone who actually enjoys that line of work, because this woman clearly hates her job and does not treat her customers with respect. Again, I will not let this go. I’m extremely disappointed with the experience and would like to speak with management at the earliest opportunity. You people embarrassed me and stole my money.

I really enjoyed the music, and the place is nice but we arrived early and we noticed a damp smell and later on when it got busy the place was very hot, I think it need better ventilation. The drinks were a bit pricey, 11£ a single shot with mixer so we do not know if we will repeat the experience…

If you’re gonna bump the ting with your £20 line scam you might aswell let the club get packed first so the £20 bumping fee feels worth it. Had us queuing for tiime. You could’ve got the security to scan everyone’s tickets before 00:00 while they were in line. Can’t just be bumping the ting like that. Come on guys.

It's live but when they say free b4 12 dem lying you would be in that entry line form 10.30 and they be letting ppl in supper slowly untill about 11.50 by that time da line is way way way long ya no... N you can see the door..... As soon as 12 comes, the line starts moving N ur paying £20 on the door😲 although you got your free ticket and you was there from early... But when you're in the vibes is very LIT.. Haha

In response to Lit's reply....... How much earlier do you want ppl to reach there before you let people in, for the free ticket.... Come on... I mean people have responsibility and need 2 get ready 2.

Your ticket policy says free before 12, but how can a customer keep to that, coming as early as 2hrs before 12, and standing in the queue and your not even that far down the line..... So next time I suggest Lit start letting ppl in... even up to 11.50 at a regular pace to keep to their policy and then slow it down after 12....like their policy suggest. Or limit the amount of free tickets and promoters of they parties held there as they won't want to take certain one claiming that it's fake😁

I attended this club with a very bad experience.was in the queue with my friends and a woman with brown hair was walking down the queue she was off her face on drugs and said I’m not coming in. I’m a 50 year old woman and was picked out for no reason. Owners change your manager she’s a mess

This club was a min walk from the trsin station. Got there for an afro-Caribbean night. The music was excellent.
We booked a table And a security guard stayed at the entrance the entire night to ensure only our group came in.
The crowd was very young. Roughly 18- 30.

When I was in the toilet, I really enjoyed the softness of the bog roll when taking a dump. Think it was 4 ply. Amazing place.
