I went to argos today to buy some storage boxes and also to collect some parcels as I knew I wasn't going to be at home for the parcels to come. Unfortunately the young woman with shoulder length black hair thought it was appropriate for her to be extremely cheeky and rude to myself so I won't be returning to this store EVER again and neither would I be recommending it at all! When I got out to my car I phoned up to make a complaint and the store manager wasn't in but the lady who did answer the phone who said she would take my complaint over the phone then started to argue with me and was extremely accepting the way the young lady who served me today was exceptical which is appsuiluty disgusting behaviour and it just shows how badly argos train there staff to speak to customers. I'm sure when I did my nvq level 2 in retail I'm sure was tought not to be cheeky or argumentative towards customers. These two members of staff need reminding without customers they would be without a job these days.

Wanted to return a doll and they would not accept it because I had popped the plastic ties out which you can pop back in with ease and they insisted I cut them so it was not in resellable condition. Then when I pay £40 for another doll they have the audacity to give me a doll in a dented and torn box. Are you having a laugh?!

Dysfunctional staff lacking common sense on last week's Sunday morning shift, simple tasks turned into an ordeal and rude so I agree with the many other poor reviews on here about this store.

Argos senior management it seems you need to shake up the customer service culture in this store as it is being run by the "rizla crew" that likes to smoke by the main entrance to your store.

Used the next day delivery service twice now because convenient and safer at the current time. First time, they couldn’t find us although speaking to the delivery driver and she was a mile away...I thought, just go with it. Was resolved the following day. Ordered something yesterday for next day delivery, hasn’t arrived again, excuse being they have ran out of time! You shouldn’t have a service if you cannot follow it through. No help or use to me at all! Spoke to somebody this morning and they booked me in a delivery between 6-10pm, 10 minutes later, another lady contacts me to say what had happened, when I already knew, although this time their excuse changed apparently they couldn’t find us, and she would book in a delivery for 6-10pm. I then told her that it had already been done, her reply was “there is nothing on the system”. Lack of communication, stupid service!

Always friendly helpful service, but always feels understaffed. They have most things in stock or can get it later that day or next which can be a god send when you live in the country. Takes a reasonable amount of time to get your items but be aware that the car park is shared with two other businesses so you may have to man handle your goods a fair distance.
