What a lovely little place. Food tasted amazing, you can tell so much care is put into freshly made food that they supply. Very nice, great service. Definitely the best place to eat.

This is undoubtedly the most stylish and brilliantly presented restaurant within easy reach of Hay-on-Wye and Hereford. The food (obviously) is of the highest quality and Cederic and team were faultless in serving us the best (by which I mean taste and exquisite presentation) lunch in years. The restaurant is beautiful. We were so well looked after and I'd book every week if I could! Thank you.

Booked for an anniversary lunch at short notice. Had a few issues with booking online, when I called Cedric was extremely helpful and confirmed the booking for us. When we arrived we were greeted by Cedric and chose to sit in the orangey area. We ordered the amuses bouche and olives to share. My main was the carpaccio of sea bass and my husband had the sea bream with dauphinois potatoes. It was absolutely delicious all washed down with a lovely glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc. The food, service and location is outstanding, will be looking forward to going for breakfast one morning. Will definitely be going back, such a wonderful restaurant to have on our doorstep. Went for a birthday lunch. Was given the lunch menu and didn't discover until after we had ordered that there was a special lunch option. Would have been nice to have been told about this although I appreciate we could have asked. Asked for an alcohol free gin but only had 1 flavoured one which I dont like. There was no discussion to offer any other alcohol free drinks .
Waitress was rearranging her hair while standing behind the bar, not very professional I thought.
Soufflé was very disappointing, mixed nuts came in a very small bowl with lots of seeds which are very difficult to eat with your fingers! Mains were ok.
Chef very friendly and came out to chat with customers.
Overall we were quite disappointed.

We had a wonderful evening. Food was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was very good, unobtrusive and there when needed. There was a great atmosphere with a relaxed ambience. We shall definitely be going again. A wonderful find.

My family had a birthday lunch at this enchanting French restaurant. We absolutely loved the chic minimalistic venue. We chose different meals and all were exquisite.
Everyone was welcoming and the service impeccable.

Lovely restaurant with plenty of French charm but £23.10 for 2 x Cappuccinos and 2 x Croissants is just taking the mick. Prices are way too steep.

Fun amuse bouche and delicious fish soup. I didn't love my lamb quite so much as it was difficult to cut up as a little tough and rather too much fat for my liking. Attentive service on a busy lunchtime with the odd hiccup due to young inexperienced staff . Disappointed to not have a cloth napkin and no where to hang my coat other than on the back of my chair. Small dish of green veg and similar potato were, I thought, overly expensive extras. Enjoyed the wine.
