Exceptional family run department store with a history dating back to 1770. Excellent range of high quality product lines under one roof, from fashion and furniture to books and toys. The food hall is a particular highlight, beautifully presented and with an outstanding range of quality products.
A small café in the food hall and a larger restaurant upstairs offer a nice selection of refreshments and lunch options, with sandwiches and cooked lunches prepared to order. Busy in early afternoon but didn't have to wait too long - a nice change from London!
The store, completed in 1823, is a really unusual building and an architectural treat. Nice to see that well behaved dogs are welcome everywhere inside except for the food and drinks areas.

So much on offer here and such a beautiful building,they never disappoint us each year with their Christmas displays this year wrapping the whole building in a giant red gift bow which looks amazing.

I very much like how they support local small creators and businesses I was blown away to see so many lovely local stalls on the 2nd floor for their Christmas market ,this was lovely to see so many handmade local gifts.

Huge floors filled to the brim with such a varied selection of goods.
Something for everyone here and they have a bar and restaurant inside too just brilliant.

Always a pleasure to visit this lovely store. Guaranteed to be busy at lunchtime but worth the wait for their delicious food. Furniture, clothing, leather goods, books, children’s toys and lots lots more. Highly recommended.
And now Christmas shopping begins with the wife 🫣

First time in Norwich and I was intrigued by Jarrolds. I only visited the downstairs which was the food shop. They have many food products from around the world like France or Italy. Also you can find a local products area with things like chutney, jam, honey and more. They have a lot of amazing things and the pricing is quite affordable too. I was happy to find some French products like Brets crisps with flavours that are hard to find even in France. Definitely a place to visit when you're in Norwich!

We had often thought of visiting the Cheese and Charcuterie bar on our 7th Anniversary since we first met was a great opportunity. We enjoyed a glass of white rioja and a pinot grigio to accompany a salmon platter and and anti-pasti platter. The service was friendly and our wine and food just perfect. It was just the kind of food that we enjoy with plenty of flavour. The only slight negative was a lack of flavour in the crayfish tails (probably because they were a bit cold) but they were fine with the sauce or pickled vegetables. Overall a very positive experience and we will be back!

I don’t often make reviews but we was very impressed this year !! Me and my family went to see Santa as we do every year but this year was by far the best!! Santa was amazing so much energy and got everyone involved he was just perfect!! Hope to see him next year because he defiantly made the kids Christmas!! So Thankyou and defiantly recommend
