On our recent visit to Home Bargains in Houghton le Spring, we were delighted with the customer service level from team member Scott. Scott went out of his way to assist us with a purchase of a patio table and chairs. Scott went to great lengths to ensure the item would fit in our car and that we were satisfied prior to purchase. New build, nice inside with everything you need, including garden supplies! Even has fresh sausage rolls, donuts and bread! Also fridge and freezer foods and reasonable prices

Popped in today for a bit shopping milk was out of date yesterday the 4th so told a member of staff and got a reply saying we no we getting round to it .surely they should of checked yesterday for out of date stuff especially milk

Expected normal stock and store got neither! Came out with not even half that wanted!? Low amounts of stock on shelves water was on a shelf six foot long and that was half empty! Two packs of vimto no room for any more absolute garbage if you want your normal home bargains shop go to another store , parking very narrow as if a after thought and store accessed from shiney down a pot holed hell of a road I wont be going again avoid avoid avoid
