feels good inside lots of kid friendly machines (not dad pocket friendly though) bowling was good but £40 for one game seems a lot to me. we even had table service from a guy called muhammed who was great, refused a tip even.. liked him… but, trying to get drinks at the empty bar ruined the experience, im standing there alone, 3 guys behind the bar all avoiding my eye contact and seemingly trying to ignore me on purpose.. that tainted the experience and they should be made aware. poor service.

We took a party here during the week. All the staff were amazing and really helpful, however there were not enough staff to deal effectively with the number of customers. This is quite disappointing when it is clear party bookings have been made and managers can clearly work out the pressure points. We had a party of 32. There were other parties at the same time, but just one member of staff in the kitchen and one server. Obviously this affected service even though those staff members were working really hard and doing a fantastic job.

I am so disappointed with my experience at Hollywood bowl. We arrived for bowling and the table was an absolute mess from the previous people, as seen in photo. I asked for it to be cleared and was ignored by staff. We ordered drinks before we started bowling and by the time we had finished 40 minutes later they had still not arrived. The staff did not seem bothered at all and it felt so unclean.

Being that this is the nearest bowling alley to us, it is a great place. It can get very busy and sometimes the staff can be overwhelmed which can then cause a backup on the lanes being tidied before you get on the lane allocated for you. Other than that we have a great time.

Service was good and it was reasonably clean. Good selection of house balls. Knocked 2 stars off because lane was not oiled correctly. Gave up trying to hook my ball and just bowled straight. Also, pins were on strings which affected how they fell.

Had a great time here with my husband, staff were helpful and attentive, was nice and clean, easy to check in with tickets bought in advance and the game was already set up and ready to go. Bar had a great selection of drinks that we enjoyed with our games. Only complaint was I couldn't find a bowling ball that was light enough and fit my fingers so had to settle for one that was a bit too heavy.

Ordered food which was sent out cremated, all of it! server offered to get us a manager to send it back and refund it all. Manager arrived, not a scrap was eaten. Refund refused. No refunds, only option was to bring fresh back over, or eat the cremated food. Manager said there was a problem with the oven, not the staff, but still refused the refund when they couldn't fulfil the order. Manager was rude, condescending and very unhelpful, left very upset, hungry and feeling like we've been robbed! Do not eat here! The whole place is run by teenagers, including the management! No customer service skills.
