Hawthorne Learning Solutions

My son benefited greatly from Hawthorne Learning Solutions and I highly recommend this tutoring service. (We used it in middle school and high school.) His confidence was boosted by having the one-on-one tutoring that was tailored to his needs. The instructors are fantastic and connected with him on a personal level making learning fun and a positive experience. I really enjoyed the good communication regarding scheduling, especially around the holidays, and the updates received after each tutoring session so that I was aware of what was worked on and any challenges or breakthroughs. Hawthorn Learning Solutions also does a great job coordinating and working with the school information so that the tutoring is keyed in to the specific subject matter that is being taught. They are highly knowledgeable and experienced. As a busy working mother, their approach was a helpful support that made life better for our whole family. It significantly lessened school related power struggles and homework battles, and really helped my son meet his learning goals.

Our son went to Hawthorne Learning Solutions over the summer to help get him up to grade level in literacy and math skills. He normally hates anything to do with academics but the tutors at Hawthorne were amazing at making a connection with him and finding ways to make the material fun. I would recommend Hawthorne to anyone! Even if your child isn’t struggling academically it’s a great way to prevent summer learning loss.

We had a great experience with Hawthorne! Our kiddo was not feeling confident going into Middle School math. We took her to Hawthorne one time per week during the summer so that when it was back to school time, she had a rock solid math foundation. It was exactly what she needed to walk into school on day 1 ready to go and feeling ahead of the game. We highly recommend Hawthorne.

Hawthorn has been a lifesaver over the last 7 years, through 3 high schoolers, from AP physics, calculus, and help with executive functioning! They have been a key partner in maintaining a positive parent-child relationship while making sure our kids stayed on track an acceptable for their studies.

Our experience with Hawthorne had been wonderful, my son has ADHD and was struggling to complete assignments and stay organized. After only a few weeks of tutoring he made significant progress and his confidence has increased. Communication is excellent, I get a detailed description of what was covered after every tutoring session. I only wish I had found out about Hawthorne earlier!

We love Hawthorne Learning Center. My daughter was feeling overwhelmed with her AP World History class. We got her a tutor to help her and it made a huge difference! She felt more confident going into the AP exam and...she scored a 4!!! We can't thank Hawthorne enough for the assistance they provided! Highly recommend!
