HAF was recommended by a family member and my son's first experience with him was extremely positive. My son is doing his mocks and then GCSE's and has been reluctant to have a tutor all year. After his first meeting with Haf, he had his English mock exam the next day and passed, due to the way Haf patiently explained the words to use to be descriptive and their meaning. My son now wants Haf to remain as his tutor and for three times a week, which we are all ecstatic about!

My son in year 10 (who has some special educational needs) has been tutored by Mr Hafeez for GCSE science for the last few months.

This has been a really positive experience for my son for the following reasons:

1) Mr Hafeez has in-depth knowledge of his specialist subjects, curriculum expectations and examination requirements (across many boards). On top of this, his experience of teaching this subject shines through as he's able to respond to my son and explain any concept with ease and without hesitation. To accompany this, he has extensive resources he's created that supports all subject topics.

2) Mr Hafeez is able to adapt his teaching style to match my son's needs (Tourettes/OCD/Dyslexia/Anxiety). My son needs multi sensory teaching to access the curriculum and Mr Hafeez uses a mix of visual support and videos along with exam style questions and other techniques. He is patient and tries multiple ways of teaching a concept if my son is not understanding something.

3) Mr Hafeez quickly established rapport with my son by responding to him at his level, in a way that is understanding and flexible. He built a trusted relationship with him by treating my son with respect and belief in his ability. He shows compassion and encouragement which has really boosted my son's confidence and belief in himself as a learner.

For all the reasons given, I would highly recommend Mr Hafeez's tutoring services.

What a breath of fresh air to find such an enthusiastic tutor who can relate to and engage with a 12-year old boy! Jeevan loves his sessions with Hafeez and actually looks forward to them.
