Had school photos from Tempest. Poorly taken photo, out of focus and either over-lit or overexposed print, absolutely terrible standard. Overpriced anyway - an absolute licence to print money if you want a school photo you have to pay through the nose for poor quality.

Terrible expensive pricing and we must need to pay due to their monopoly in the ceremonies like graduation. Even for soft copies they charge £17 each.
(Charging £86 for 3 Photos)

Hope there is a good market gap in this awarding function photography.(someone can utilise this gap with reasonable prices)

Absolutely awful, I've got 3 boys, 2 of which had this awful company to do their school photos, and 1 who thankfully had a better company do his! The actual photo isn't of great quality and looks washed out compared to my other child's school photos from Braiswick, not to mention the sets I bought from tempest were significantly more expensive, hadn't been cut down to size properly and the sizing is awful, what's wrong with doing a normal size print.... why is it 7.7 inch by 6.3inch, why not just a normal 8x6? I'm actually disgusted by this company. Overpriced, poor sizing, poor colouring and i have to do half the cutting job for them! Avoid 👎

Completely in agreement with other reviewers. Wpuld give zero stars if could.
My eldest daughters last year of school photo was cropped at the top of her head. When I emailed to complain, which,took days for a reply, was told that was a 'contemporary shot' !!?! Felt obliged to buy the only remaining other photo taken although this one not much better but at least I get my daughters full head in shot. Looks like she was thrown in seat, told to look at camera and 'click' then "next". Worst Tempest photos ever in all my children's school years. Ordered my digital prints by phone on 7th Oct,after hours of trying to get through. Could not order online as photo I wanted of daughter was attached to a file of her year group which I did not want. Was told I'd receive within 5 days. Now 11 days later I'm just off phone from most non-customer service employee who advised that orders taken over phone are written down on pieces of paper and mine must have gotten lost in amongst the other orders they have as 'they are extremely busy just now'!!!!! What?Paper Lost? I asked why I had received no emails to advise my order confirmation when money taken from account etc, was asked 'why would you expect an email from us?' Talked to me like it was unacceptable for me to ask why I'd had absolutely no communication from them after taking my money!!! In this day and age this kind of service and management of running a 'customer service' should not happen.Shocking photos. Shocking order system. Shocking service to match. Glad my youngest has only a couple more years of school photos left. Schools should definitely be using a competitor as all previous reviews seem to agree. Shocking.

Terrible experience with Tempest Photography—if I could give 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly on graduation photography, so there was no choice but to use them if we wanted any photos at all. The photographers seemed unprofessional, rushing through the session and delivering poorly taken photos.

Their prices are ridiculous, especially since they don’t offer digital files without charging an unreasonable amount. Ended up paying an excessive price just for digital images. To make matters worse, the USB provided was corrupted—the JPEG files weren’t fully transferred, leaving them unusable.

Was really excited to receive my daughters 1st school photos, upon receiving the proofs yesterday I was extremely disappointed. the way my daughter was posed on the side and her neck angled strangely, strands of hair over her eyes...was there really no one there to be able to move her hair out of her eyes or make her feel at ease? as it was her first school photoI did end up buying 1 of the 2 photos and paid £22.50 for it..after seeing the comments I wish I didn't and wish i took her to a different company. I ended up editing the photo myself to try and remove the hair strands. but i agree with most of the comments. schools need to find a better photographer who takes pride in their photos especially when it's the child's 1st school photo..will be mentioning to the school👎

Always provided the best photos. Professional service and very accessible for my autistic children. They have always been so patient with them. Gutted our school didn't use them this year it's clear they have been the fall guy for following another schools instruction on the way they want photos doing!

They did a horrible job with the picture of my daughter. It is so clear that they are doing this only for the money and they do not have the slightest common sense or care about the parents.
They took a poor photo where my child sits on the side, I cannot even see the logo of the school on her cardigan. They want me to pay 22 pounds for a digital picture that even a child can take better with an iPhone.

What a joke ! There was no one there to at least tell the child to sit straight or tie her hair a bit better for this one picture?
Needless to say I will never order this picture as I can take millions of quality pictures of her.
