It's all fun and games unless you're autistic and the tutors aren't trained to accommodate your needs, so you're pushed aside, forgotten about and given no support. Favouritism is a huge problem here too. Always felt uncomfortable and ganged up on by both students and tutors. Still dealing with self esteem issues year later. In conclusion, screw FC. I learned nothing except the fact that the education system is a mess.

At first I was starting to warm up to this place, that was until we had to sit for a full 5 hours doing nothing, the tutors are ill prepared to the point of where I’m going insane, if you HAVE to come here because you have no other options then that’s the only reason I would come here! ?

Am an older student, felt out of my comfort zone initially, however this passed instantly . The tutor was very pleasant and put me at ease, spoke clearly and explained things thoroughly. The college is very clean and adheres to covid recommendations.

The receptionist were all so lovely,whenever I have spoken to any of the tutor's they always have they been more than helpful, but lyn mccracken has gone to another level of being beyond helpful many thanks too all concerned xxx

I have studied at Furness College as an access student. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and can't speak highly enough of the tutors and the support they gave throughout the course.Great opportunities were on offer, I joined the student council as a rep and then was elected as a student Governor which was an excellent and extremely useful experience for my career.I decided to continue to study higher education at Furness and I'm studying a foundation degree in business management at the moment. Brilliant course with fantastic tutors and the facilities in the new building are excellent.Highly recommend this college!
