Forge Mill Farm is a great place to spend a weekend day with your little one. The entry price is very good, and you get to see a nice variety of animals, which keeps the kids entertained and engaged. The farm is in a lovely location, and there’s a beautiful lake nearby that makes the whole visit even more enjoyable. The shop on-site also has great prices—nothing feels overpriced, and there are plenty of nice items to choose from. Overall, it’s a fun, affordable day out in a peaceful setting.

Visited for first time with grand daughter (16.3), cool but dry. 90p for 2 hrs parking, bargain, used the PayByPhone app and it worked fine. More animals here than we thought there might be. A good rang of goats and sheep, some lamas. Inside sheds too. On the Farm walk you can do a circular, it’s not too long. Some horses, donkeys, turkeys, rabbits, hens, more goats. There’s a play barn & cafe but we didn’t go in there today. You can get close up to pet & feed the animals. There’s a small shop with gifts & snacks. The yard as you come in we thought could do with a bit of a an imaginative make over, just to make it a little more inviting. You can wash your hands after seeing the animals. A very nice visit overall. Would be even nicer in warmer weather. There’s a milking shed but we didn’t see any cows, maybe out in the fields eating grass 🙂.
Well worth a visit. Adults £5.50, children 2 free. All worth it to go to such a good cause.

Very clean, lots of washing facilities. Lovely animals that look well cared for. Very nice walk round the fields with more animals in the fields. Inside eating area and play area but there is an additional payment for the play area. Snacks and drinks facilities. Nice day out for all ages, my grandaughters loved the hay barn stacked with sturdy hay bales that they could climb over and have fun, it was their favourite thing 😁

Visited today with my lo 4 and my niece who is 6, my niece wasn’t feeling great and my lo (autistic) looked at 3 animals and wanted to leave, drove to sandwell valley park got the bikes and scooters out and went for a play then as they had perked up I decided to go back to the farm, it was a different person (young asian male) on the admission desk and I explained we left earlier but the kids were more settled could we come back in and he said yes no problem we close in 50 mins though. I was so happy because I spent £13 for the 2 of them, I was free as Im a carer and they really enjoyed it, my lo actually looked at the animals and was interested in them. Parking was great too I paid £2 at the start of the day at forge mill and used it at sandwell v and then back at forge mill. The girls had a great day and enjoyed the chips from the little hut at the end, a great day ou. Will return again all staff were lovely and friendly
