I was replacing a terminally broken printer, and whilst I don’t print that much these days, I like the reassurance of having a working printer, there is always an important document to print at times.

I searched for the same brand as the broken one, the print head had gone, I found a Canon Pixma, a snazzy, good looking white version - 3 in 1 printer, scanner, copier - wireless - £40.00 at Argos.

Click and collectable, and whilst not available Argos in my home town of Helston, available at the Argos at J Sainsbury’s in Falmouth the next day, 8 miles away. Result.

I clicked, paid and collected at 9.00am, I think they open at 9.00am, it took 2 minutes to locate the box, I just had to confirm the order number, which had been messaged to me, easy 🍋 squeezy. I’d only ordered at about 6pm the previous evening.

The printer was a dream to set up, within 10 mins, I was printing a test page.

I have been shopping at Sainsburys for many years and the customer service has always been good however last Tuesday i was doing my usual shopping and I was in desperate need of the toilet roll - it wasn't until i met a staff member called Eleanor who told me exactly where they were. Really helpful and good at putting reduced stickers on items. 10/10 service - would recommend

A bit useless really - very little stock. I'm pretty sure I have more items in my garage than this porter cabin sized Argos. Everything is available either next day or in a few days time.
It's great if you want to quickly pickup rechargeable batteries or something else - as long as its very little. Anything bigger than a shoe box - forget it! Go to Amazon and have it delivered to you next day!
