Review pickleball only - awesome, well lit courts. Folks super friendly and welcoming... only draw back are occasional smokers, whose smoke seems to overtake the area?

4/19/2022 Front renovations complete. Very pleasing in the night light. Indoor classes with mask restrictions. 5/7/2021, no indoor classes due to State restrictions. Convenient for local High Schools for Accel classes. Teacher's are helpful and caring for students.

It is a regional community college serving East-Side San Jose. It was built in the 1970's. Originally with two buildings functioning as classrooms and labs plus separate admin building, library. In the 2000's the college has been expanding with additional classroom / lab buildings, a new gym. Its sister campus is San Jose City College in the central area of San Jose near Bascom and 280. A distinctive character of EVC is the pond in front of campus - home of several resident ducks, swans, as well as its adjacent Montgomery Hill.

Their teachers are decent but they have the worst front office I have seen in my life. Getting the classes I needed, as well as verifying the classes I took at other universities was a hassle and I had to jump through so many hoops, and pressure admin to do their jobs in order to get verification. Further, admin are very poor at keeping track of records, as I had to send AP scores and transcripts multiple times before they received them. Overall, the front office is really disorganized, give contradictory advice, and lack a cohesion that should make the registration and transfer process seamless.

Honest review about this place? It's amazing. This community College is wonderful. My fat a$$ lost 60 lbs going here while also running Montgomery Hill and eating well of course. This school has some of the best teachers I have ever met and with their inspirational classes onto the next one!!!! Come here, you won't regret it. They have amazing programs, help with mental health and over all health. People happy and willing to help you with financial aid without belittling you and I met some of the best people here. I miss it! Oh and and just remodeled, renovated and build some buildings and it looks beautiful af! Oh wait... also the water fountain is beautiful with gorgeous views all over.

I had a great experience at EVC. I am older and decided to finally step it up and work on getting a degree. The school really helped guide me through the process and anytime I had a question or needed approval for something they were quick to respond and help me. They also had many online classes which was very convenient for me since I work and have kids.

Diane was my main counselor and very helpful + encouraging. I truly enjoyed my time here and highly recommend them! I am about to transfer to CSUC very soon. Super excited and I was accepted to every university I applied to. Work hard and you will get there!

Absolutely beautiful at the turn of every season! There are new blooms of wild flowers barely making a debut. In another couple of weeks the hills @ evc should be covered with yellow mustard super blooms! A stunning sight indeed!
