I can't recommend EC4U highly enough. From our instructor Tony, who has a commendable level of knowledge & who delivered the course in a way which leans towards all learning styles, to Jen, behind the scenes, who supported me at every stage, from signing up, to what I needed to do & needed to bring along and answering any questions I may have had. The support is ongoing which is really nice. I will definitely be choosing EC4U as my training provider and be doing further courses with them in the new year. This level of service, which is hard to come by these days, brings a smile to my face. 10/10

Came for the Domestic Electrician four week course. From the moment we arrived it was clear that this is a well organised training company. Covid-19 hygiene was immediately evident and continually reinforced. Our instructor, Tony Hellard quickly established mutual respect and humour, providing a great foundation for the learning experience.

Absolutely no time is wasted. Everything you are asked to do has a purpose, even if it is not immediately apparent. Classroom work is delivered at a fast pace, there is a lot to cover in short time, I felt like I was drinking from the fire hose! Stay alert, take copious notes, there is a huge amount of experience continually flowing from the instructor. Tony was happy to take questions (I asked a lot!) and also made himself available before class if you had any particular difficulties. You are shown how to tabulate and highlight your reference material to be as effective as possible in finding relevant information for the exams.

The workshops, tools and test equipment are all good quality and provide a well organised, safe learning environment. The final “experience week” is unique to EC4U and was fantastic; especially for me as I have been flying a desk for the last 35 years and had little “on the tools” time. We were also given advice on tools and a tour of Tony’s fine collection. EC4U have a good relationship with CEF in Burgess Hill, who also have a great team to help you “tool up”.

We also had a “commercial” session given by Myles which once again provided concentrated, relevant information on subjects like Legal, Insurance, setting up your business, finance, advertising, internet and lots more. All of this is supported by comprehensive resources on the EC4U website that the team are constantly researching and updating.

At the end of each day I was exhausted but energised by having learned so much.

I cannot recommend this organisation more highly.

Thank you Tony H. and the team at EC4U, the course was everything I had hoped for and more.

Mike.

Just took their Level 2 course and the whole process was so smooth and painless. A good combination of online work and in centre learning to make it easier to fit around your schedule.
Their office is quick to respond by email and easy to talk to over the phone. Also, the in centre trainers were very knowledgeable and helped beyond the course.

Excellent setup and superb facilities do a great job of getting people up to speed on each course. The lecturers are both real-world experienced and extremely knowledgeable, and do a great job of explaining the many new concepts. Despite being a beginner I learnt a huge amount of useful, practical info and skills across the 4 week package, plus getting industry-applicable qualifications. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent teaching standards from an experienced and supportive team, with particular praise to Miles, Geoff and Tony. Thank you for your time helping me in a few areas I fell short to reach the necessary level.

High quality facilities and equipment; with onsite car parking or a 15 minute cycle from the train station. All tools / equipment provided.

Highly efficient and very speedy admin from Jen; which I think is very important.

Other students I met travelled from as far as Cornwall and Cambridgeshire. I enquired as to why and they replied that EC4U has the best reputation.

For those considering any of the courses here; they need hard work and will require effort to pass, but at EC4U you will be given every opportunity to do this.

My personal experience at EC4U was really very good. The tutor we had clearly took a lot of pride in his work and understood our position well as new starters who wanted to progress. Having the dedicated practical training rooms next door proved useful when a particular part of the theory needed to be further explained in 'real life' terms. I enjoyed an overall professional but relaxed atmosphere, all in a well maintained facility.
