I was originally with adsl24 which changed several hands to Timico and finally Digital Space. Whilst I don't have issues with actual bband service I am extremely upset to find out their excess use charges. EXTORTIONATE IN THE EXTREME! I find myself in the position where I have been unwell for a while and due to aerial broken have been watching a lot of stuff via Internet. My package is a 60 gig limit. I found out I have no way of accessing account details to keep an eye on usage except by phoning customer service (so no use out of hours and usage figure is for day before ie not 'live'), I cannot buy extra gigs and get this because the service is linked to Vodafone (never advised this and even tho my package is a landline) if I go over the 60g I will be charged £2.50 FOR EVERY 100MB - A FILM (Approx 1g) WOULD COST £25!! Location meansI can't have fibre and watch lower resolution, can only get up to 8 Meg speed and have never used more than about 45g so not worth me changing plan to pay more for unlimited etc. Been customer for approx 20 years - so much for loyalty eh? The original service I had was far superior. I had a portal I could access 24/7 and could also buy add ons.

EDIT - situation resolved - same package but unlimited given at no extra cost so I am happy with that so changed to 5star rating

Good broadband providers, but the customer service is very poor. I cancelled, gave lots of notice, and after paying an unforeseen 'Admin charge' for cancelling well outside of my contract (£60), they continued to bill me after all my broadband and telephone services were ceased. If I hadn't of noticed this on my bank statements, then I would have continued to pay for nothing! After almost 5 months after leaving them, I've yet to receive a refund or decent response from the customer services team.

Would have give no star, if there was a option. I have been a customer for almost 40 years always been loyal and always paid on time. I have
been a customer from the very begining seeing it change names around 4 times starting as ADSL24 through to Timico. Recent issues with my fiber and ADSL connection I witnessed endless problems being reconnected. No emails being answered and being passed from pillar to post getting know where. Endless lies being told I couldnt be reconnected as no space was available, after endless self research plenty of connection availability was available. so in the end enough was enough I decided to go with a diffrent ISP provider and yes I was fully connected in 14 days usuing the same cabinet where I was told no availability. Overall customer services, complaint procedure, customer services are difficult to liase with the who ways DS work needs a total re-vamp, we are customers at the end of the day.

Hopeless. Came as a customer when the bought Newnet but recently stopped the system my site was on (powerhost). Can they transfer my site to another Timico system - er NO. Can they suggest another way around without leaving - er NO. Can they suggest another provider I can move to - er NO. Am I on my own now with broken email system and all my old emails now deleted? - er YES.
