A bit like a rabbit warren in places. Feels like significant redevelopment would not go amiss. That said, the new library and Dyson centre are very pleasant.

Let me be honest here. The department is substandard in architecture. Neither it looks very old that one can feel being in a historical building (like most of the places in Cambridge) nor it is well planned like West Cambridge. The irony is, it is the department of engineering. It is an uninteresting piece of a beautiful university !
